    To add a new meter element in the system, double click on "Meter Type" and enter the meter name and choose its line type, connection, principal, nominal values like voltage and frequency. Key parameters for energy measurement like accuracy class and constants for active and reactive energy must also be input. Once all values are entered, press "Add" to save the new meter element details in the table, and it can be given a name and saved.

    Double click – Meter Type


    Enter meter name eg A1700

    Choose line type

    Choose connection

    Choose principal

    Note:- Other data can be added but not necessary for the testing of meters

    Choose Nominal Values

    Input Un (base voltage) note Ph-N selected

    Input Ib & Imax


    Choose frequency 50Hz

    Note:- Other data can be added but not necessary for the testing of meters

    For Kwh

    Input P – accuracy class eg 1.0

    Constant eg 0.2 Wh/imp

    ONCE COMPLETED MAKE SURE YOU PRESS ADD TO MOVE THE SELECTION INTO THE TABLE BELOW

    Input Kvarh

    Input P – accuracy class eg 1.0


    Constant eg 0.2 varh/imp

    Choose element – save as

    Choose name eg Elster A1700

    OK
    Check new meter is in list
