Increase in export of Palm oil, cardamom, herbal medicines, herbs, jute products. Decrease in
export zinc sheets, wire, readymade clothes, juice, copper wires.
Import from India increased by 7.5%, whereas import from China and other countries increased
by 5.5% and 6.8%.
Increase in import of raw palm oil, chemical fertilizers, unprocessed soybean oil, machine and
spare parts.Decrease in import of MS bullet, transport equipment and spare parts, gold,
petroleum.

· By the end of FY 2074/75, the population under the poverty line has been 18.5 percent,
multidimensional poverty index 28.6 percent, and human development index 0.574.

· With the implementation of federalism, government policy, programs and efforts have been
centralized towards building up poverty-free society. In FY 2074/75, both poverty and
multidimensional poverty index have been decreased, and there is continuous improvement in
human development index.

· It aims to decline the poverty rate to nil in 2100 B.S. and decline below 5% in 2087 B.S.

· 20676/77 falgun, 26 district 1225000 families were listed in multi dimensional index in
which 391831 are families below the poverty line.
