 Since you will be in need of support of technical papers, you can access platforms like –
ResearchGate, Libgen, and Scihub, to download your required content.
 Provide sufficient graphs, plots, illustrative flow charts or other modes of illustrations to add
weight to your findings.
 The Assignment can be submitted through UMS only as Assignment will be uploaded and
submission is fixed through ‘Online Mode of Submission’.
 Assignment is preferably to submitted as soft copy in form .doc or .docx files (MS-Word) and

 Your understanding on the drilling operations is desired in this assignment.

 The assignment will allot oil/gas fields that underwent drilling activities.
 You are to understand about the entire overview of operations that are going on and should
especially focus on –
A. field information (location, coordinates),
B. companies involved (operating, service, drilling contractor),
C. type of drilling rig used,
D. components of drilling rig utilised,
E. services offered by companies,
F. activities involved including any incidents if applicable, and
G. current state of the field (whether producing, or abandoned).
 The allotted topics of the oil/gas fields shall be in the coming page(s).
