1. System Requirements

1.1. The system shall be in commercial operation with the same or similar configuration as
detailed in this specification and shall be available for inspection. A reference list of
such similarly configured systems and details of contact persons shall be submitted
with the tender response.

1.2. The system described in this specification must have the following capacity as a

1.3. The system architecture shall be a tiered system consisting of:

1.3.1. one or more installations of the head-end software application operating on

computer servers and operator workstations,

1.3.2. IFCs managing the system in a distributed intelligence format,

1.3.3. semi-intelligent sub-units (output modules, input modules, readers, etc)

which rely on IFCs to function.
