Entrance Antiphon [Mode I]

May we never boast,
Except in the Cross of our Lord Jesus Christ.
For the word of the Cross is the power of God
To us who have been saved.

Responsorial Psalm [Mode I]

R. The Lord made us, we belong to him.

Sing joyfully to the LORD all you lands;

serve the LORD with gladness;
come before him with joyful song.
Know that the LORD is God;
he made us, his we are;
his people, the flock he tends.

Enter his gates with thanksgiving,

his courts with praise.
Give thanks to him; bless his name, for he is good:
the LORD, whose kindness endures forever,
and his faithfulness, to all generations.

R. The Lord made us, we belong to him.

R. Alleluia, alleluia.
Blessed are the poor in spirit;
for theirs is the Kingdom of heaven.
R. Alleluia, alleluia.

Communion Antiphon + Ps. 78 [Mode I]

Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness,
For theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.

Give ear, my people, to my teaching;

incline your ear to the words of my mouth.
I will open my mouth in a parable
and utter hidden lessons of the past.

The things we have heard and understood,

the things our fathers have told us,
these we will not hide from their children
but will tell them to the next generation:
the glories of the LORD and his might,
and the marvelous deeds he has done.

He established a decree in Jacob;

in Israel he set up a law.
To our fathers he gave a command
to make it known to their children,
that the next generation might know it,
the children yet to be born.

They should arise and declare it to their children,

that they should set their hope in God,
and never forget God’s deeds,
but keep every one of his commands,

So that they might not be like their fathers,

a defiant and rebellious generation,
a generation whose heart was fickle,
whose spirit was not faithful to God.

He divided the sea and led them through,

and made the waters stand up like a wall.
By day he led them with a cloud;
throughout the night, with a light of fire.

He split the rocks in the desert.

He gave them plentiful drink, as from the deep.
He made streams flow out from the rock,
and made waters run down like rivers.

Man ate the bread of angels.

He sent them abundance of food;
the east wind he stirred up in the heavens,
the south wind he directed by his might.

I resolved to know nothing while I was with you
Except for Jesus Christ, and him crucified.

Responsorial Psalm [Mode II]

R. The Lord speaks of peace to his people.

I will hear what God proclaims;

the LORD–for he proclaims peace.
Near indeed is his salvation to those who fear him,
glory dwelling in our land.

Kindness and truth shall meet;

justice and peace shall kiss.
Truth shall spring out of the earth,
and justice shall look down from heaven.

The LORD himself will give his benefits;

our land shall yield its increase.
Justice shall walk before him,
and salvation, along the way of his steps.

R. The Lord speaks of peace to his people.

R. Alleluia, alleluia.
Be vigilant at all times and pray
that you may have the strength to stand before the Son of Man.
R. Alleluia, alleluia.

Communion Antiphon [Mode II]

Responsorial Psalm [Mode V]

R. You will draw water joyfully / from the springs of salvation.

God indeed is my savior;

I am confident and unafraid.
My strength and my courage is the LORD,
and he has been my savior.
With joy you will draw water
at the fountain of salvation.

Give thanks to the LORD, acclaim his name;

among the nations make known his deeds,
proclaim how exalted is his name.

Sing praise to the LORD for his glorious achievement;

let this be known throughout all the earth.
Shout with exultation, O city of Zion,
for great in your midst
is the Holy One of Israel!

R. You will draw water joyfully / from the springs of salvation.

R. Alleluia, alleluia.
Stay awake!
For you do not know when the Son of Man will come.
R. Alleluia, alleluia.

Salmo Responsorial [Modo VII]

R. Dichoso el pueblo escogido por Dios.

Que los justos aclamen al Señor;

Feliz la nación cuyo Dios es el Señor;
dichos el pueblo que escogió por suyo. R.

Cuida el Señor de aquellos que lo temen

y en su bondad confían;

R. Aleluya, aleluya.
