1.Discuss the functions of arts in the context of enhancing your personality?
Art is everywhere, man-made or natural, moving or stagnant and colourful or plain. Arts consist of different forms
that create unique visual impact to the eyes of many. It defines the changing personality and character possesses by
an individual. Through art, people learn to appreciate and respect things as they are. It develops an impact to the
behaviour leading to acceptance of its importance as a major component of purpose in daily life with art.
2. How can art be an aid to better citizenship? Give example to illustrate this
Art can be a better aid of citizenship by simply showing patriotism and nationalism. Through art, we can express our
own thoughts and ideas which are unique for any other people. Just like what we did by our dearest painters in our
country, they express their feelings through art and they became well-known as they contributed in the field of art
with their character of being patriotic and nationalistic.
3. In what ways does art contribute to the physical, social and spiritual well-being of man?
PHYSICAL-Art helps the body relax, eases tension in the body, and reduce stress. If a body is less stressed then the
immune system is not stressed as well. Thus, a medical study (art therapy) shows that creative activities can indeed
enhance the immune system of the body.
SOCIAL-Art helps create a connection with other people, particularly with fellow artists. Making an artist feel
support from the community. Art helps create involvement in community or group activities. It can create moments
of interaction with other people. Art helps in delivering a message through visual art. It makes a message easier to
understand because of visual aid. This is a useful teaching method, especially for kids. Art can influence people's
thoughts and affect his/her decision.
SPIRITUAL-Art can inspire, give a sense of purpose, and uplift the spirit of a person. It has always been a part of an
artist' life
4. Why do artists differ in the subjects if their art work?
Subject really matters in the artists that produced an art, art is creative purposes, like, and dislike, attraction and
hobbies that affair in their daily life that is important to deals in kind of situations. Art are the products of
human creativity; the creation of beautiful or significant things. A diverse range of human activities in creating
visual, auditory or performing artist (artworks), expressing the author's imaginative or technical skill, intended to be
appreciated for their beauty or emotional power. Works of art collectively. A superior skill and mind-set that you
can learn by study and practice and observation. Art can also be a second person singular form of be. How great
thou art, meaning, how great you are.

5. Why is line an important element of visual arts?


Lines are used to create shape, pattern, texture, space, movement and optical illusion in design. The use
of lines allows artist to demonstrate delicacy or force. Curves may take us slowly uphill, or turn sharply twisting our
mind as they turn. a line can express various moods and feelings.
6. Why should objects in drawings and paintings be in balance forms?

Artists generally strive to create artwork that is balanced. A balanced work, in which the visual weight is distributed
evenly across the composition, seems stable, makes the viewer feel comfortable, and is pleasing to the eye. A work
that is unbalanced appears unstable, creates tension, and makes the viewer uneasy.

7. Is there rhythm without repetition? If yes why? If not why not?


Technically, yes, you can create an abstract pattern that does not repeat. That said, the human perception will look
for a rhythm if it is at all close, a process called quantifying. Human played rhythms are imprecise compared to
digital ones that can measure in nano seconds. Also, the longer the pattern you create, the more likely there are
internal repetitions. So the human brain, with or without musical training, will LOOK FOR patterns in music, to
“make sense” of it. Pattern creation and then deviation (variation) is a primary yin-yang engine of musical
experience and enjoyment. It happens on rhythmic, melodic, harmonic and orchestral levels all the time. The famous
piece “Bolero” by Ravel was one such experiment that proves the point 
8. Why do people view an object differently?
Everyone has kind of interpretation and discuss of story behind that kind of art. Concluding is one aspect or
observance to deal of art. It’s developed the criticizing and functioning of understanding towards of masterpiece.
9. Discuss the significance of variety in art?
Variety is a principle of design that deals with diversity or contrast of art elements. Variety helps the artist project or
invokes a feeling or emotion. Variety is the principle of art that adds interest to an artwork. Variety works through
juxtaposition and contrast
10. How does music differ from the other arts?
Music and art is that music is a sound, or the study of such sounds, organized in time while art is (uncountable) the
conscious production or arrangement of sounds, colours, forms, movements, or other elements in a manner that
affects the sense of beauty, specifically the production of the beautiful in a graphic or plastic medium.
