II. Functions of switch and terminal

(1) Change switch


System has no answer to the external signal when this switch is in adjustment state,
door operator will open or close the door on request, when press manual open or
close button; system is control by external signal, and manual open and close
buttons don’t function, when it is in the system state.
(2) Manual close button
When the change switch is in the adjustment state, press this button, and door
operator will close the door, it will stop closing soon if stop pressing, wherever is
it in; this button don’t function when the change switch is in system state.
(3) Manual open button
When the change switch is in the adjustment state, press this button, and door
operator will open the door, it will stop opening soon if stop pressing, wherever is
it in; this button don’t function when the change switch is in system state.
(4) Control input and output
Control input including external control signal input and door position signal input,
control output including open complete output and close complete output (detail as
picture 1).

Control input:
X0, X1——input of A, B phase on encoder
X2——pulse density (pulse input)
X3——close signal
X4——close complete input
X5——open complete input
X7——open signal

Control output:
Y4——close complete output
Y5——open complete output

(5) Power supply input and output


P/L1 and S/L2 terminals of inverter are power supply input, be required to input
single phase 220-240 VAC, and voltage is steady. U, V and W terminals are power
supply output of inverter, they are connected directly to AC motor.

III. Control curve and related parameter instruction

Be controlled by encoder, door operator acceleration and deceleration position can


be adjusted by itself according to pulse position point, to satisfy customers’
different requirements. Door operator opening curve is controlled with parameter
P5, P6, P24, P7, P8, closing curve is controlled with parameter P25, P26, P27, P4,
P7, P8.

Parameter detailed functions as bellow:

V. Inverter operation procedure

(1) Confirm run display and run mode display


Be in stopping
PU running mode (press PU/EXT button)
(2) Press the [MODE] button to set parameter mode
(3) Find required parameter with rotator
(4) Press the [SET] button, and adjust data with rotator
(5) Press the [SET] button, set the parameter, and complete the setting
(6) Press the [MODE] button, to make inverter return to the previous state

VI. The matters that should be paid attention to in adjusting.

(1) Do not connect an AC power supply to the output terminals(U/T1, V/T2, W/T3).
(2) Input power supply mustn’t exceed 240VAC, and should be steady voltage, to
prevent burning out the inverter.
(3) Do not allow water enter the inverter, to prevent damage by short circuits.
Environment temperature of inverter is 0~55 ºC. Its relative moisture is
35~85%RH.
(4) If the door is at middle position, when power supply is on, It tunes itself. When
self-tuning, the door will be open first then be closed. During self-tuning,
open-door frequency is P25 and close-door frequency is P5.
(5) Inverter and PLC have R485 communication function. When normal, two
communication indication lights (SD, RD) may glint together. If there is only
SD indication light glinting, it means the communication is abnormal, Inverter
parameters P83~P90 is not able to be read out.
(6) Power supply initialization, when reading the parameter, open and close will not
be answered.
(7) During debugging, if change the setting of P83~P90, the parameters should be
read again. (to switch the PLC running switching or to power on after power
off is ok). When reread the parameters, it should be operated under complete
state, to prevent self-tuning again.
(8) Redefine some important parameter:
P82——Switch between N.C. and N.O. of open or close complete signal
P83——Auto open and close running (It plays when setting value is larger than
1.0. The value is set at 0 before leaving factory)
P84~P87 denotes acceleration or deceleration position of open and close, they
are based on the percentage of door opening distance. Open complete
is 100%.
P88——switch between N.O. and N.C. of open or close complete output
P89——the time from close complete till the end of P4 running frequency
P90——Keep torque time of open or close complete. Keep torque frequency of
open complete at P24. Keep torque frequency of close complete at
P27 (If P89 is larger thanP90, keep the frequency at P4)
P91——compare value of pulse density (It means the pulse numbers passed in a
unit of time. The Inverter has set that 1.0 denotes 10 pulse)
P92——corresponding time of P91 (The inverter has set that 1.0 denotes 10ms;
The setting value of P92 should not too large, it is suggested that the
value is between 4.0 to 5.0)
During close process, if the practical pulse numbers passed during the unit
of time set by P92 is smaller than the setting value of P91, reopen the door.
The door closing force could be adjusted according to P91 and P92. When
debugging, P92 should be fixed first, then increase the setting value of P91

gradually.
(9) The fault met in debugging and remedy:
1) If the start torque of open or close is not large enough, the setting value of
torque raising P0 could be increased properly, or increase the setting
frequency.
2) If there is reopen signal all the while, parameter values of P91~P92 were
not read in, check if there is any problem in communication.
3) Open or close running curve is abnormal. (There is no high-speed part)
a) Parameter values of P84~P87 may not be read in, check if there is any
problem in communication.
b) Maybe A and B phase of encoder were in reverse (The value of
high-speed counter is minus)
4) If communication is well-balanced, the two indicator light (SD,RD) will
glint together. If there is some problem in communication, there is only SD
indicator light glinting.
a) Check the communication parameter N1~N17 of inverter
b) Check if the connecting of cable is correct, or check if the contact is
OK.
