Research Title: Counseling Motivation of grade 10 in Senior High School Department

Background of the Study

Counseling is a process of helping individual or group of people to gain self understanding.

Guidance and counseling are important ideas one which planted in the student by peers. School

need counselor to assist the child in molding their future through counseling.

Nziramangasa (2006) state that because of any pressure on school, parents have a little time

with their children to give them necessary guidance. The parents expect the school to provide

solution to discipline the students.

The purpose of the school counseling program is to impact skills and facilitate learning

opportunities where in it is active and prevented manner that ensure all students can achieve

school success through academics, career and personal experience. School counselor

coordinate the objective strategies and activities of a comprehensive and developments need of

all students.
