1. what is the importance of communication in your field of study? in your future profession.

Communication is the way of expressing someone’s opinion. But how it is importance in the field
of Engineering. Developing communication skills can help many aspects of life, from social gatherings,
families to your professional careers. In today’s world, we people are relay on giving and sharing
information to each other, resulting to have a good communication skill. Good communication by means
of verbal or written are very essential in order to deliver and easy and accurate understanding of shared
information. One part of communication is that in communication you should, or I should be a great
listener, active listening will help you and your classmates in school, colleagues on workplace have more
open and useful exchanging of ideas and information. Communication is very Important when it comes to
my social study and field, also it’s important in my future profession when times I’m working with others.
Work doesn’t happen in a vacuum. Engineers must communicate daily with each other, with supervisors,
with people in different departments, and even with clients. Their work is complex and technical, but not
everyone they work with has the same technical expertise, which makes it even more important for them
to have good communication skills. For engineers to be successful over the course of their careers,
communication skills are just as important as technical knowledge. This is certainly the case in
engineering firms, where collaboration is key. One of the best ways for engineering managers to bring
value to their companies and help their own careers is by learning and practicing good communication
skills.

2. What are the practical application of the communication concepts in your field?

Communication involves transmission of verbal and non-verbal messages. It consists of a sender,

a receiver and channel of communication. In the process of transmitting messages, the clarity of the
message may be interfered or distorted by what is often referred to as barriers. in this time of pandemic, it
is true that face-to face way of communication is hardly need stop to prevent the spreading of the Covid
19. Therefore, the most practices may we apply the concept of communication is by virtual
communication the most thing or way to communicate others is by the internet and technologies. An
example is this, me as the sender of the message then there is the signal where my message is in there
and then a satellite as the channel to make my message travel through radioactive and sent it into the
person whose I send the message, this person is representing as the receiver of my message, then if
he/she has replied in my message then it would be what we called the feedback in the communication
concept especially the communication process. Communication is very important now adays and it is a
process of creating and sharing ideas, information, views, facts, etc. among the people to reach a
common understanding. An engineer may be highly qualified and skilled but if he/she does not possess
good communication skills, all his ability becomes irrelevant. An engineer must communicate his
directions effectively to the subordinates to get the work done from them properly.

3. How is the communication process unique in your industry and how can you adopt to its possible
demands?

In the workplace, engineers can be involved in an extensive list of different activities such as
conducting research, designing, developing products, and managing. All these activities demand
resources including time, staff support, technologies, information, and communication. Writing skills of
engineers as one of the most important communication modalities are frequently explored by researchers,
some studies seeking to understand the skill set engineers need to become competent in the workplace
include a more general picture of the communication abilities expected from industry. In engineering
Information input is defined as the effort or time spent reading and listening, as well as the amount of
reading or number of interpersonal interactions made. Information output is the time and effort demanded
for writing, making presentations, and other activities, as well as the quantity of items written, and
presentations made. Additionally, how engineers communicate, and the channels selected to do so, are
both important aspects of the communication. To adopt to this demand, I will be grateful to study and
apply the communication skills to be a good and excellent communicator to my workplace.
