Atmanirbhar Bharat : overcoming gender, caste, and ethnic biases

It's been seventy-five years since the independence of India. Our country has faced a lot of
challenges since then. Among them were gender, caste, and ethnic biases. The journey was pretty
slow but people of our country accepted that if they want to overcome these challenges they have
to bring unity and forget their primitive thinking. Even though some people may not accept these
changes, but also some people treat everyone equally and believe that they can change India's
future. Even today there are indeed some gender norms in some parts of our society, but the way
of thinking has also changed.

Our new generation belief that not only girls should be strong but, also boys should have the
liberty to express their emotions. Not only girls but boys can also be a cook and not only boys
but girls can be an engineer too. In our country, there is rarely any belief of discrimination on the
bases of castes. Our constitution has given rights and recruitment for castes that were dominated
by upper-caste for hundreds of years. people of our country has understood its diversity of
culture, religion and language and has respected about their beliefs.

Even though we are still developing and learning to accept the changes. I am still proud of my
country. And I believe that things can be changed if I change the way we think can change my
country’s future and so do many youngsters like me. We celebrate and enjoy all kinds of foods
and festivals of every culture and relegion because we accepted that having diversity is not bad
thing. Even our freedom fighters created a sense of unity during struggle from British rule by
saying that we share history and it is true that we share history. We overcame the sense of
discrimination because we learned that talent and skills should not be judged by someone’s
birth place. Board results of past few years clearly proved that girls are not weaker than boys.
If any one state our country gets effected by natural calamity other states are always there to
support that state.
