INTRODUCTION
SOCIAL MEDIA IS ONE HECK OF A THING
The purpose of this PowerPoint presentation is to give a brief insight
of my social media presence. You can know a lot about a person by
simply exploring their profiles on any social media website but
everyone on the internet is complex on how they present
themselves. Some show too much of their personality and some
don’t, some aren’t even real representations of themselves and I
think that’s why social media is so intriguing. Social Media is
essentially an extension of our real lives with a few additions…

⊗ I made this account in 2013
because I wanted to upload
pictures from a Christmas Party.
⊗ I’ve made other profiles on this site
for games I used to play.
⊗ This is the only social media profile
from my early teens that I have
consistently maintained.
⊗ I genuinely hate this website.
⊗ I only have a profile on this site
because of family and school.
PINTEREST
⊗ I don’t really use Pinterest much
nowadays, so this profile is pretty
much dead.
⊗ I usually use Pinterest to look for
stuff like references for drawings,
cool art, and random stuff like
fashion or new backgrounds for my
phone.
⊗ I don’t really have a lot to say
about my Pinterest profile.
INSTAGRAM
⊗ I don’t really use Instagram a lot so
it doesn’t have a lot of content.
⊗ I used Instagram a lot back when it
wasn’t filled with photoshopped
models and shallow personalities.
⊗ Because of that reason, I disabled
my Instagram profile for a long
while
⊗ I only started using Instagram
again last year.
⊗ I genuinely hate this website.
TWITTER
⊗ This profile is not my first account
on this site.
⊗ This is probably the social media
site where I am most open and
most willing to reveal my true
personality.
⊗ I don’t really post a lot on Twitter
but I do like the site despite it
being a cesspool of toxicity.
⊗ This is my most used social media
site.
REDDIT
⊗ I’ve had this account for almost
two years now, but I only started
using it consistently last year.
⊗ Reddit is my favorite website ever.
⊗ This is my second-most used
social media platform.
⊗ Karma are the points you garner
when your posts or comments get
upvotes.
⊗ The sense of pride you get by
building up karma is the best
feeling I’ll ever get from doing
anything on a website.

CONCLUSION
DON’T EXPECT MUCH FROM ME.
I mentioned earlier that each individual on social media is complex. If
you go to my profile from each site that I’ve shared, you would only
get a glimpse of who I am, not the full picture. And to be honest, I
prefer keeping it that way. Social Media is here to stay, whether we
like it or not, and it’s impact on our lives is gonna get bigger and
bigger as more years go by. I can’t really say that I’m excited to
where the evolution of social media will go from here but I do hope
that one day, facebook will get wiped off the face of the net.
