Note: Take DVR 4 channels as an example for description, 8channel and 16 channels products as
reference.

Chapter one Procedures for Installing a Hard Disk

1、Remove set screws for upper cover 2、Remove the casing of the main unit

3、Install data power cord for the 4、Fix the holder with the hard disk on the
hard disk base board

5、Close the top cover and fasten 6、Install set screws for upper cover

Note: SATA hard disk inside the main unit does not support hot plug, please properly connect
wires in the hard disk prior to booting.

Chapter two Connection and Startup of Main Unit

1. Connect power supply to the main unit power supply interface, open the power switch equipment, and

boot into the system.

Chapter three System Login and Introduction

When the system is locked, click right mouse button, select "Main Menu" in the shortcut menu, or click
the shortcut icon on the preview screen, a user login interface will appear. Fill user name and password in
the login window (default name is admin, no password). A successful login can be conducted when a
user inputs a correct user name and password and then press OK for confirmation. The user then can
operate the system.

Chapter four Video Setting

This machine supports automatic recording, motion recording, alarm recording, manual recording

In preview screen, click right mouse button, select "Recording Control" in the shortcut menu, or click

the shortcut icon on the preview screen directly, you will see the "Recording Control" interface as

shown in the following picture. Select channels to be recording in the “manual” check boxes, press OK for

confirmation and then perform manual recording.

5.2 Add the device

“Control the panel” ->”Device administration”, then pop up the device management interface, select
“Device List”, click the button “Add the camera “.then you will see the following picture.

Device name: the display name that you add to the user device list, more convenient to people identify
(such as living room)
Device type: lens (the channel of the IPC, DVR\NVR), device (such as DVR\NVR)
Connection modes: (IP address and port access mode), P2P (cloud- penetration mode)
Protocol: select the front-end device protocol
Cloud ID: you can get the cloud id from the DVR, Main menu->System management->system update
Username: the login username of device
Password: device login password
Channel NO: view what channel number, start from 1. Completed IPC as 1 (if it is the device type, it is the
channel number mean: complete 8 if is 8Channel DVR)
Stream: request to a front- end device stream format while live preview, 0 is main stream,1 is sub stream,
default is sub stream.

Chapter six Mobile client using
Support two installation modes and the user can choose one way for installation.
You can operate according to the following steps
1. Online installation

2. Search QMEYE on himarket or google play and install online.

Note: After installation, an application icon will appear in the application interface.

2. Login interface
Open the software into the login interface,
inputting the username and password and click
button “login”, then it will be login the application.
Detailed setting can refer to new wizard.

UMID: you can get the cloud id from the DVR,

Click icon , Into the "search" dialog box, In the main menu, click "remote playback"

B）Add lens :add single camera(Single channel)
C）Modify the name: Modify equipment or lens.
D ） Modify IP: The modification is in IP
address .Subnet mask and the gateway
information etc...
E） Modify the equipment password.

5、Real time preview.

In the Main menu, Click “real time preview”,
Then click “collect” button, Jump to "favorites" Select event type. start time and end time, click
interface: Choose the “live telecast list” a device
arbitrarily, into video preview interface. icon, remote video recorder list will be listed.

7. Local playback
In the main menu, click “local playback”
