The unique design of the 4000/5000 series controls is the industry’s first significant
innovation in over 20 years. These controls combine the proven reliability of electronic
circuitry with the unequalled performance of a mechanically-held relay. The result is a

family of controls that last virtually as long as the luminaire. The mechanically-held
relay is so robust that it exceeds 20,000 on/off operations when tested to the ANSI
C136.10 load test. The 4000/5000 series controls are the perfect solution for the
most demanding applications and where years of trouble-free load switching is
essential. Typical applications include 1000 watt flood lights, multiple fixture loads,
and street lights with decorative holiday lighting.
