My name is Sanchit Arora. I have been born and brought up in Delhi. I belong to a nuclear
family and both my parents have government job. Coming to my academics, I have done my
schooling and graduation in B.Com from Delhi itself. Along with my graduation, I was working
as an Audit Assistant at SVP & Associates for 20 months. During that period, I worked with
multiple clients from different industries and dealt with different departments. The lack of
interest in the domain I was working and an interest in work that is more creative and working
with different people made me opt for MBA in Marketing from Institute of Management, Nirma
University. I did my Summer Internship at Accolite Software India Pvt. Ltd., Delhi as a part of
the sales team wherein I was working for product marketing for a newly launched product,
Eduthrill, a gamified assessment platform. I explored various marketing channels for the
promotion of the product, negotiated the cost for a booth to be put up at an educational fair
conducted by Zee, and coordinated with the marketing team and helped optimizing the ad
campaigns using Google Analytics. I have done certifications like Google Analytics, Google My
Business, BE B2 level and Advanced Excel.

Talking about my life outside college, I am very passionate about bike riding and traveling. I
have traveled many places in Northern India on my motorcycle and otherwise. To share my
experiences with rest of the world, I started a YouTube channel wherein I make travel and
moto vlogs and share them with others. I have 1800+ subscribers and 80,000+ views in total.
My major interest in food made me write restaurant reviews on zomato as well as on
Instagram. This helped me get collaborations forom various restaurants wherein I was intvited
for food tasting and reviewing by multiple restaurants.

Good structure. You should put more numbers in internship experience like you did for your
youtube channel. Just add this line to highlight any achievement during the internship.

4 . Whydoyouwanttoapplyforthisrole? *
Since I am a content creator on my YouTube channel, I will bring creative insight to my work. In
addition, I have been working on various ways of promoting my channel as well as my
Instagram, I can bring my experience to te work. I am good at networking and creating relations
and also coordinating with people, which makes me fit for the role. Also, the leading position of
the company in the industry would help me shape my career in the desired direction.

I like the flow. Keep working on your youtube and Instagram accounts. Higher the number and
impact, higher the credibility of your answer :) Keep ready the details about your learnings till
date in the same, example: which post gave you most followers? Have you worked on any
strategy to increase the follower count or any activity to engage your viewers? What was the
result?

DDB Mudra is a leading company in the advertisement industry. It is also India’s first and
largest integrated marketing communications and service network. Also the scope of services
goes through a very wide gamut. I can bring my creative insights and experience of social
media to improve the service delivery to the clients. Also, I really liked the “Ziddi Hoon Main”
diital campaign created by DDB Mudra for Helathkart.

Find out couple of more successful projects by DDB. Or failures. How would you do anything
differently in the case of failure. Mention some global success stories in digital campaigns
(Cocacola, Oreo etc)

6. What are your short term and long term career goals? (300
words) *

I see myself starting my career as an Advertising Campaign Manager for DDB Mudra since it is
India’s first and largest IMC service provider.

For the long term, I am not very sure. I would like to first explore different roles in the
advertising industry and pursue the role I find best suited for me.

Strengths – 1. Good at networking

I am good at making networks, meeting people and developing relationship with them. In my school a well
as in college I was very well connected to each and every student. I share strong bonds with a lot of
people from different parts of my life. As I am very fond of traveling, I meet new people wherever I go, I try
to learn about their culture and also build a bond with them.
2. Calm & Composed
During period when people usually panic, I remain calm and either to find a solution or move on as the
case maybe. A few years back I started a small online business wherein a dealer cheated me and I
suffered a loss of Rs 1,31,000/- but the situation didn’t make me panic. I dealt with the situation in a very
composed manner. Since the amount lost was irrecoverable, it was of no use to panic and be troubled.
How did this happen? What were your learnings?

3. Dedication
In college whenever everybody used to sleep, I used to wake up till late and read case studies and pre
reads for next day’s lecture. No matter how late it is or how tired I am, I never missed any such pre reads.

8. Mention your 2 weaknesses and how are you working

on them? (200 words) *
I sometimes tend to start work a little late but I always meet my deadlines. To overcome this, I
have started planning my work in advance. This has helped me manage my time and work more
efficiently.
I am more comfortable in a one to one conversation. To overcome this, I have been actively
participative in class discussions, making presentations, etc.

9. What are your biggest achievements? Mention Upto 3 (200

words) *
I have been running a Youtube Channel since past 2 years. I have been actively creating and
uploading content for my viewers. I have been able to achieve more than 1800 subscribers and
more than 80,000 total views. Also I have been creating content for Instagram where I have
attained more than 13000 followers. This helped me get a brand collaboration from Coolberg
India which makes non alcoholic beverages.

Apart from this, I have lost more than 7kgs of weight in past two months.

You can use this answer to define the flow and arrive at your desired role. As suggested, add

I am a part of Swayam, The Entrepreneurship Club of IMNU. I have been a part of the creative team
wherein I make videos for all the events. I am also the part of the execution team wherein we make sure that
events go smoothly and flawlessly. It also includes making al the arrangements for the event like putting up
posters, banners, etc.
Remove the last line. You can add charity or volunteering activities as well.

11 . Whatisyourbiggestfailure?(100words) *
After completing my 12th, I chose CA as a career for me. The decision was based on my
parent’s choice and without much research. While pursuing CA, I realized that I want to
work in a more creative field and which involves dealing with people. I was unable to clear
second group of my CA Inter and eventually quit CA and came for my MBA. Although this
was failure but I learnt to research well before attempting any task. Since then I have
started doing my home work well before attempting any task.

During my summer internship, although I was working in a team of 6, I was given the responsibility of
assigning task to 3 members of the team. Also, I was responsible for maintaining a relationship with
POCs of various colleges/universities, whose admission forms we were selling. I was also responsible
for sending them daily report of forms sold along with the filled forms received from students.

I come from a hindu family and I converted to being a sikh 4 years ago. Apart from this, I am
very passionate about travelling. I love meeting new people, learning new languages (which
one? Learn a bit of some foreign language) and learning about new cultures. I am very fond of
dancing.

Summer Internship
18. Where did you intern and what were the project deliverables? *

I did my summer internship at Accolite Software India Pvt Ltd, Delhi. I was working as a
part of the sales team which consisted of 6 members. I was directly reporting to the
Associate Director. I was primarily working for marketing and promotion of a newly
launched product by the company, EduThrill which is a gamified assessment platform. For
this I explored various marketing and promotion channels such as meeting vendors in the
educational hubs of Delhi such as Kalu Sarai, GTB Nagar, etc. The company also decided
to put up a booth at Zee Educare, an educational fair conducted by Zee Entertainment
enterprises. It was a 2 day event. I negotiated for thr price of the booth from Rs 50,000 to
Rs. 15,000. I managed the logistics for the event as well as coordinated with the design
team for the leaflets, standees, etc.

The company also sold admission forms for various colleges/universities. For this, leads
were generated through various online ad campaigns which were transferred to a CRM
software. I coordinated with the marketing team for improving the performance of these
campaigns. During the span of 2 months, 4000 leads were generated which we used to
call and total 150 leads were converted.
