on it our term paper is based on that research. We have talk about our new companies
environmental analysis, mission, vision, tagline, SWOT analysis, STP, 7ps, promotional
plan, competitors analysis various things. Later on we described how our new company
would sustain on the industry. And most importantly we emphasize on the promotional
strategy of our new product how it would competitive with existing brands of chips.

Limitation
Although this research was carefully prepared, we are still aware of its limitations and
shortcomings. Firstly, we have face some problems which is, lack of available or reliable
data because we just collect data from website, so the data collection process was limited.
Secondly, it was not possible to go and visit the company for that reason we can’t collect
raw and primary data from them. Finally, as age of data our study is based on secondary data,
pay extra care to the age of the data. Making current assumptions based on old data
represents a strong limitation. Also they have many fragmented data’s that is why we had to
research a lot.

Our company is the Agarikers which basically makes crackers from mushrooms. we are a
new company, our aim is to introduce our product in the market which is the mushcrackers.
We have partnered up with unilever in making the crackers. Our goal is to reach a certain
amount of net sales on a certain period of time. In future we would also like to expand our
business to other countries if we are successful here in Bangladesh. Mushrooms starting from
our farms to the consumers would be of top quality. We try our best to ensure quality of

a standard set by the FDA. In a developing country like Bangladesh new laws and rules are
being created every day, so the company has to follow the laws before making a move in the
market.

Economic: The economy of Bangladesh is improving with each year. The GDP growth of
Bangladesh in 2016 was 7.1%, the growth further grew to 7.3% in the next year which is
2017, in 2018 it again saw a rise in GDP growth which was 7.9% and finally in 2019 it is
8.1% up until now. As we can see the growth in this country happening in a very fast pace
and it will be ideal for any company to do their business here in this country. Economic
conditions have the highest influence on a business in a country.

Social: Now-a-days consumers are very health cautious. Consumers look for products which
has health benefits and also which serves their daily protein and mineral intakes. Here the
crackers clearly serve the purpose of the consumers. There is rise of huge mushroom
consumption after a recent study showed that it cured many diseases in the long run. Studies
also show rise in vegans in the society which further increase the consumption of the healthy
mushroom. Our tagline" Eat Healthy, eat Fresh" suggests that the products will be fresh and
healthy for the consumers.

Technological: Technology can give an edge in the market. Technology is necessary to


create packaging, food labels, and the production of food. We will use billboards and
electronic billboards to showcase our flavors and promotional ones. Online marketing will

also play part in this market. In the advancement of technology the company will not sell the
crackers on the live market but will use the online delivery system to deliver from door to
doors. Bulk orders will be given extra discounts.

let people taste our product for free for a limitation time so that people can taste our food
before buying and also we can get a proper review from people about our product.

crackers” 19 to 49 not more than that as we would make different type of food and flavor so

regional managers for promotion and sales. Having the right people is essential because they
are as much a part of your business offering as the products/services you are offering.

Processes – Proper connection with customer would bring the customer satisfaction. As our
good is a product so how are they feeling about our product is also a concern for us.

Promotion

Here comes the most important part, promotional strategy. When a new product comes into a
market the company’s most important part is to let the general people know about the
product , make them understand they need the product , why they need the product and where
they can get the product. As our “Mush crackers” is a sneaks item. So it should be available
everywhere and we are planning to promote this along with some school, university, park
through Unilever on spot campaign (roadshow) on those places. We are planning to go on
Brac University, recently assigned with campaign on Govt. science school and college, also
on the Dhaka Shishu Park (amusement park). After situation analysis we became able to
known our organization strength, weakness, opportunities and threat present in
environment.The advertisements of us shouldseen across various channels like newspapers,
TV, magazines and other print media. The brand also would good visibility on Twitter,
Facebook, and YouTube. To make it more popular among sports enthusiasts, it sponsors
major sports events to make it popular among the youth. We would like to sponsor in some
travel agency and picnic spot and “International trade fair”also.

All these strategy provides a lot of support in setting of objective. There may be a lot of

Advertising: It is any paid form of non-personal presentation and promotion of ideas or


products by an identified sponsor. Objective of any ads is to increase brand awareness. Our
promotional advertisement would be on television and radio.

Public Relations:Sponsoring various agency, sports team, roadshows on educational


institutions etc would have a good relation in terms of public relation promotion.

Sales Promotion:There would be various size of packet if our product is strong enough in
the market, such as family size, couple size and based on that there would less price on each
of them.

Direct Marketing: Based on favorable location we would like to have our selling points
through our sellers on spot.

Awareness and Knowledge: We have various super shops, grocery store, gas sttionsetc buzz
place on cities, so we are planning to bring our product there to let people know as it is in
primary stage. A strong shelf presence obviously would catch customer’s eye.

Liking:we would stimulates positive feelings about our products by maintaining a warm,
customer-centered image on our website, in television ads, in print ads, and in the media, and
by facilitating sponsorship deals with other major brand Unilever.

Preference: In attempting to convince customers that our products are superior to


competitors’ offers, we highlights the high quality of our ingredients , the nutritional benefits
and great taste of the products, and the environmentally friendly practices used in production.

Personal and Non-Personal Communication: Our company would rely on both personal
and non-personal forms of communications to reach customers. In the personal realm, the
company would have teams of sales representatives meet with potential buyers, a YouTube
and Facebook presence, a high market share that facilitates word-of-mouth influence, and
contests like the “Do Us A Flavor” Campaign that create lots of buzz. They also maintain a
non-personal presence by implementing ads in magazines and newspapers, on television,
billboards, signs, and by having an attractive, informative, and persuasive website.

Main aim of our companyto promote and produce high quality chips in different-different
ingredients such as Spicy Bar-B-Q, Cheese, Redchili. This is mostly done to capture youth
attention. We produce chips in different ingredients to capture more market share. Last but
not the least, another important p is packaging. We are concern about it and also we would
focus on flavors and communication. Our new campaign looks forward to creating a smile on
the faces of the millennial consumers.

Competitor’s analysis
Chips are common and famous snacks all over the world. Child to old aged most of the
people likes to have chips. There are many companies who make chips for decays. So we
have a lot of competitors in the market. Most of the chips are made from potato. Our
company has brought a new idea for making chips by using a new ingredient called
“Mushroom”. In Bangladesh still now mushroom chips doesn’t exist. So we are the first
company who will provide mushroom chips in Bangladesh. The name of our chips is “Mash
Crackers”.

For analyzing the competitors, we are following “Differentiation” from Porter generic
strategy.

Differentiation: The business concentrates on achieving superior performance in an


important customer benefit area valued by a large part of the market. (Kotler, Keller, Koshy,
&Jha, 2017-2018)

Differentiation includes making our product different from others by analyzing existing
market, competitors, customers need, availability of raw materials and many other things. In
Bangladesh almost every brand is using potato as the main ingredients of their chips. We
choose mushroom as a main ingredient of our chips which is low in carbs and high in protein
and fiber. It also contains B vitamins. We all know chips is not a healthy snack but we are
trying to make it as healthy as possible. For keeping it healthy we are baking the chips in
oven instead of frying it in oil. So we are using less oil than other brands. Mushroom is
cultivating in Bangladesh that’s why it is easier for us to use it. We are providing 3 different
flavored mushroom chips which are Red Chili flavored, BBQ flavored and Cheese flavored
because different people have different taste. We will distribute our chips in free for

promoting it. People can taste it and give their feedback regarding the taste and quality of
mash crackers. Only we are providing this opportunity.

Recommendation
As we a startup business so we have many room for improvements. First things first we have
to compete our local chips companies as well as foreign chips companies also. So that would
be a problem for us if we can not keep pace with them we would end up in loss. First few
years we do not expect any kind of profit just want to reach break-even point of business. We
have to compete with brand such as Potato crackers, Mr. twist, Sun chips, Pringles, Lays etc
who have already at least a sound share in market so we should be concern on these factors;
