1. Do Part A Listen and check (page 94): Check the words in the table.
2. Do Part B (page 94): Fill in the blanks.
3. Do Part C (page 95): Match the beginning of the sentence with its ending.

Listening: A Lecture about Feeding the World (tracks 2.9 and 2.10)

4. Do Part A in Before Listening (page 96): Write True or False.

5. Do Part B in While Listening (page 96): Listen to the recording (track 2.10) and
answer questions 1-3.
6. Do Part C in While Listening (page 96): Listen to the recording (track 2.10) and
complete the outline.
7. Be ready to share your answers with your partners in class.
