Terms & Conditions

1. The Competition is open to all citizens of India only.


2. All entries must be submitted to the creative corner section of
https://www.mygov.in/ Entries submitted through any other medium/ mode
would not be considered for evaluation.
3. The winning entries would be the intellectual property of K-RIDE and the winner
cannot exercise any right over it, after acceptance of the prize.
4. The winning entries are meant to be used by K-RIDE for promotional and display
purposes, information, and education and communication materials and also for any
other use as may be deemed appropriate.
5. Source files should be shared by winning entrants
6. The winning entries should be in PDF/HTML/JPEG format
7. The website not contains any provocative, objectionable or inappropriate content.
8. Participants should ensure that original designs are submitted. The participant must
be the same person who has designed and plagiarism would not be allowed. In case
of any copy right issues, the participant/applicant will be solely responsible to settle
any legal proceedings arising out of it at his/her end. Neither K-RIDE nor MyGov will
be responsible for any such claims of plagiarism
9. Please note that website design must be original and should not violate any
provision of the Indian Copyright Act, 1957.
10. Anyone found infringing on others’ copyright would be disqualified from the
competition. K-RIDE does not bear any responsibility for copyright violations or
infringements of intellectual property carried out by the participants.
11. All entries are governed by the provisions of Emblems and Names (Prevention of
improper use) Act, 1950 and any violation of the said Act will result in
disqualification.
12. The employees of K-RIDE and their family member are not allowed to take part in this
competition.
13. Participant is to make sure that his/ her MyGov profile is accurate and updated since
K-RIDE would be using this for further communication. This includes details such as
name, photo and phone number. Entries with incomplete profiles would not be
considered.
14. There will be no notification to participants of rejected entries.
15. K-RIDE reserves the right to cancel or amend all or any part of the Contest and/ or the
Terms & Conditions/ Technical Parameters/ Evaluation Criteria. K-RIDE, if it so
decides, reserves the right not to proceed with the competition at any stage. Any
changes to the Terms & Conditions/ Technical Parameters/ Evaluation Criteria, or
cancellation of the Contest, will be updated/ posted on the MyGov platform and/ or
the K-RIDE website ( https://kride.in/ )
16. It would be the responsibility of the participants to keep themselves informed as to
any changes in the Terms & Conditions/ Technical Parameters/ Evaluation Criteria
stated
17. Payment to the winner will be made through electronic mode for which the
necessary bank details will be taken after declaration of winner of the contest
Technical Parameters

1. Participants should upload their entry in PDF or HTML format only.


2. The winner of the competition shall be required to share the source file of the
design.
3. Participants should not imprint or watermark design.
4. A small description should be provided to explain the concept.

Evaluation Criteria

1. All the entries received by K-RIDE would be assessed by K-RIDE’s Selection


Committee on the basis of elements of creativity, originality and the fitness with
corporate mission of K-RIDE and Bengaluru Suburban Rail Project features.
2. The decision of the Selection Committee would be final and binding on all the
contestants and no clarifications would be issued to any participants for any or their
decisions.
