Introduction This project undertaken at AXIS BANK as a part of summer

internship programme to understand the FINANCIAL
ANALYSIS OF AXIS BANK.
Objectives of proposed  To analysis the performance of axis bank with the help of
study financial tools.
 To understand the concept of Comparative analysis ,Ratio
analysis, trend analysis.
 To study functions of axis bank.

Scope of study The project report on “A Financial analysis of AXIS BANK”

has been conducted in axis bank[nigdi branch] for the period
of two months. The financials of last five [2016-2020] years
has been taken for the financial analysis purpose. The financial
tools which apply in projects are Comparavtive analysis ,Trend
analysis, ratio Analysis
Research Methodology For this project the type of research adopted is descriptive
type. and secondary data

Findings  From this financial analysis of AXIS BANK pvt. Ltd.,

we can see that the bank performance is satisfactory .
Conclusion On the basis of various techniques applied for the financial
analysis of AXIS Bank we can arrive at a conclusion that the
financial position and overall performance of the bank is
satisfactory. Though the income of the bank has increased
over the period but not in the same pace as of expenses. But
the bank has succeeded in maintaining a reasonable
profitability position.
