Super Common Phrasal Verbs

1- Call off / Call (something) off: To cancel.


- We need to call off the meeting due to the weather.

2- Calm down: To relax after being angry.

10- Hold on: To wait for a moment. To deal with a difficult situation.

- We just had to hold on until help arrived.
