EPS system is launched in 2016 by Dr. G. K. Adith Kasinath. I am the first EPS student.

After
learning and applying the rules in EPS I got more success.

The first major difference between KP and EPS is that in KP system we analyse a planet in
3 levels viz planet, its star lord and sub lord where as in EPS system we study a planet in 6
levels. That means planet, its star lord, star lord of the star lord, planet’s sub lord, star lord of
sub lord and star lord of the sub lord’s star lord.

The second major difference is KP considers sign lordship is the only ownership of a planet.
But EPS considers not only sign lordship but also star lordship as well as sub lordship as the
ownership of a planet. So, a planet holds lordship on many houses. Among the ownership of a
planet, sub lordship is strongest, star lordship is stronger and then sign lordship is strong.

In KP the fundamental rule is a planet gives the results of the matter signified by its star lord
and the sub lord decides those results.

For example, if a planet is posited in a Star which is beneficial for a query, but if the Sub lord
is inimical to the query, the matter will ultimately fall through. If the both star lord and sub lord
of a planet are favourable for the query then the full good effect will be felt. If both Star lord
and Sub lord are inimical, the matter will not materialize.

The above said fundamental rule is similar in both KP and EPS.

But the most important difference is that KP says, “If a planet is posited in a STAR which is
INIMICAL for a query, but if the SUB lord is BENEFICIAL to the query, after some
obstacles, the matter WILL BE REALIZED”.

But EPS says, “If a planet is posited in a STAR which is INIMICAL for a query, even if
the SUB lord is BENEFICIAL to the query, the matter WILL NOT materialize”.

That means as per EPS System Sub lord can’t offer any results of the matter which are not
signified by the star lord of the planet.

Grouping of houses: -In EPS system all the 12 houses are categorized as primary, secondary,
supportive, neutral, bad, worse and worst and allocated grades based on them for a particular
event. Event Signification Table(ESI) table is the grade table derived from an EPS table based
on allocation of grades for that particular event.

These ESI table shows the strength and weakness of a planet level by level for a particular
event based on supports and Ruler Links (RL). Ruler Links have to be carefully studied in
finding the strength or weakness of a planet.

Whereas in KP some houses are not explained whether they are supportive or non-supportive
to a particular event.

Key Planets: -

The Primary Cuspal Sign lord, Star lord and Sub lord are the Basic Key Planets for that event.
Among them Primary Cuspal Sub lord is Prime Key Planet (PKP). Planets which are
favourable for an event and who are well connected to PKPs are strong KPs.
A planet which is well connected to these strong KPs in all its levels importantly at its star lord
and sub lord becomes the strong significator of the primary house of the event.

Planetary Inter Link Theory (PILT): -

It is the master key in EPS system. This is the main invention by

Dr. G. K. Adith Kasinath, the founder of EPS system.

They found that a planet acts effectively when it is well connected to all the Primary
Cuspal Rulers of an event but differs in its effect according to its connection with its
Master Period under which it runs as Sub period.

They observed that a planet is not giving similar results under all Master periods under which it
runs as Sub period. They found that a favorable Master period planet is supporting to a
favorable Sub period Planet who is well connected to it. It is due to the PLANETARY
INTERLINKS.

So to find the actual results offered by a planet for an event we must check for the following
connections.

There are two types of PILT connections which decides the final strength of a planet.

1. Connection between the Rulers of a planet and the Key Planets:- The Rulers
of a planet especially the Star lord and Sub lord should have Connection to
the Strong Key Planets of the Primary house to give the effective result of an
event.
2. Connection between the Planets:-The Key Planets of the Sub period planet
should have Connection to the Key Planets of the Master period planet for the
effective role under that Master period.

So PILT helps in finding DBA period easily and accurately in which a matter will be fructified.
It is also useful in predicting about the prospects of the event.

In EPS we use the same calculations of KP system ie Placidus house division system and KP
new ayanamsa.

And in EPS Vedic Conjunction and Aspects are considered where as in KP rapt conjunction
and western aspets are considered.

Each and every planet is studied in an extensive manner that’s why the name is Extended
Planetary Significations system.

The analysis method is unique in EPS system even though it is developed based on KP.
