TITLE SEMINAR-WORKSHOP ON DRUG-ABUSE PREVENTION AND

CONTROL OF THE BKD BNCHS CHAPTER IN PARTNERSHIP WITH
BLGU POBLACION

RATIONALE

The bold campaign of the Philippine government against illegal drugs has
urged schools and communities to develop programs and initiatives aligned with drug
preventive education. One of the many activities is the Seminar-Workshop on Drug
Abuse Prevention and Control that aims to raise awareness among young people the ill
effects of drug-use and abuse. With the partnership and support from the Barangay
Local Government of Poblacion, Bayugan City, this activity will be initiated with the goal
of capacitating the youth to develop mechanisms whenever confronted with the threats
of illegal drugs. Furthermore the activity the activity will provide an avenue for young
people to collaborate and foster among themselves the Barkadahan spirit in prompting
a healthy and drug-free community.
