We use should and shouldn't to give advice or to talk about what we think is right or wrong.

USES:

1. GIVE ADVICE: Dar consejo.

-I think you should go to the doctor. (Creo que debes ir al médico)

2. OBLIGATION OR DUTY: Mostrar obligación o deber

–You should wear a helmet when riding a motorcycle. (Usted debe usar un casco cuando
conduzca una motocicleta)

3.PROBABILITY OR EXPECTATION: Mostrar probabilidad o expectativa.

-They should be here soon. (Deberían esta aquí pronto)

GRAMMAR STRUCTURE:

Affirmative form: SUBJECT + SHOULD + VERB + COMPLEMENT.


Negative form: SUBJECT + SHOULD + NOT+ VERB + COMPLEMENT.
