: To remove, trap and filter oil mist, odour and fumes from exhaust air
stream as generated by kitchen exhaust emission.
impingement filter/s, resultant change in inertia causes the grease to cling and
condense onto the aluminium surface. This prevents and minimise grease form
entering the exhaust ducting system, to extend service intervals of main filtration
system.
: Excesses very fine oils mists, smoke and fumes are drawn by a series of
ductwork and passes through another layer of Multi Layered Aluminium Mesh
Screens before being subjected to the Ionizing charge (11,000 DCV) and
collected by the collection plates (5,500 DCV). Condensed oil then runs along
the plates and is drain off from the bottom sump.
: Activated Carbon Filter’s to help control the odour is available in place of
the main filter.
: The odor molecules will be neutralized/ oxidized by the UV Ozonizer
(184NM) process system (air sterilizer).
: Smog-Hog ESP are sized with air volume distribution at the optimum
velocity across each module.
: Typical selection balances operation efficiency with initial equipment costs,
unless users specifically request for highest possible efficiency and double pass.
: Smog-Hog operates at 85% to 90% efficiency by charging and trapping sub-
micron particulates (0.01µ to 100µ) as rated by ASHRAE 52.1-1992,
Atmospheric Dust Spot (formerly 52-76) and Cold D.O.P. tests (MIL std).
These efficiencies are relatively much superior compared to media filters test
as rated by Gravitational Dust Spot.
