Introduction

Main features of the Interblock G5 Diamond family of gaming devices are modularity, efficiency,
and attractive player’s experience.
Modularity, being the guiding principle in design, separates the G5 products in two distinct
groups; the Game Generator where the game is conducted, and the Play Station where the player
interacts with the game. This principle allows customers to use their imagination and experience
to custom build own designs of gaming devices.
All G5 Diamond products are highly adaptive to meet with versatility of designs, pay systems,
as well as the space requirements of the customer (any desired number of Play Stations can be
connected into single gaming device to optimally fill the space).

Game Generators consists of electromechanical and video game generators (random result
generators).

Electromechanical Game Generators

Continuous development of automation principles in gaming has been the driving force
of Interblock’s gaming devices. The main idea was to bring the most popular games, such as
Roulette, Dice, Card and Bubble games to fully automatic versions, available for places where
Table games are not allowed. All electromechanical G5 Diamond gaming devices are built to
include the essential elements of Table versions of the fore-mentioned games, such as using a
real Roulette wheel, real dice, real Keno bubble and real cards to enhance the player’s experience.
With more than a decade of experience and several international awards for best product, the
fifth generation gaming devices, under the name G5 Diamond, offer a state-of-the-art automatic
games in a multi-station environment. All products have undergone a thorough electrical,
mechanical and randomness tests and certifications, and are adapted to comply with all the laws
and requirements for different jurisdictions.

Video Game Generators

Video games, which do not require a complex mechanism for generating random results, but
only a computer with graphics and random generator, have also been a part of the Interblock
G5 Diamond family of gaming devices. The advancement of graphics and display technology
has brought a simple, yet effective way of conducting games with a software random generator.
Roulette, Dice, Card and Bubble games were automated to their virtual versions, with the progress
of the games being displayed on one or more large LCD displays.

Multi-Station and Multigame Environment

The multi-station environment, where each player participates in a game through his own Play
Station, has evolved to a point, where the TCP/IP based communication between the Play Station
and the Game Generator allows simple interconnectivity. That means that each Play Station can
connect to several Game Generators, giving each player a choice of which game to play. This give
a rise to the environment called “Multigame”, where several Game Generators and Play Stations
are joined together in a single gaming device.

G5 Diamond Roulette Generator

Being the origin of the company’s first line of gaming devices, the electronic Roulette has evolved
into the fifth generation with more than a decade of continuous research and development of
automation of the classic Roulette game. The G5 Diamond Roulette is a fully automatic version of
the Roulette game, available with a single or double-zero Roulette wheel. It uses air pressure to
launch the ball onto the rim and a series of optical and proximity sensors to track the ball during
its path and detect its final position. Improvements of the concept in the fifth generation include
new fast result detection with 3 sensors, new ball-launching mechanism with 10 ball charger for
automatic ball change, a completely non pliable carbon-fiber brim around the Roulette wheel
and a thorough fraud-preventing system (multiple access sensors & switches and in-built tilt
sensor).

G5 Diamond Roulette consists of Roulette electromechanical generator, PID and LED Sign.
PID (Player Information Display) offers the player a thorough overview of statistical information
about the game currently in progress on the gaming device, such as last played games, minimum
and maximum bets, 5 most frequent numbers and the number of games.
LED Sign’s key feature is attracting players to participate in a game. LED display is capable to show
all kinds of content not just simple letters, but also movie content, and is a dynamic addition and
takes a role of eye-catcher.

G5 Diamond Roulette Generator supports Roulette game with all possible bets on a single-zero
or double-zero Roulette wheel, as well as additional Side bets.

Basic Structure of G5 Diamond Roulette Generator

The central module of the electronic Roulette is an automatic Roulette wheel which is
mechanically the same as the classical Roulette wheel, but additionally equipped with protection
cover, detection devices and electromechanical spinning and lifting mechanisms (in short, the
electronic Roulette Generator). It is fastened to the top of a metal frame cabinet containing a PC,
electrical supply devices, ball launching electric fan and hold-and-start mechanism and devices
control board.

Live camera

Camera for capturing live video, which is

displayed on PID and/or video wall.

Ball-guiding tube

The ball travels the ball-guiding tube and

exits to the rim of the Roulette wheel.

Tilt sensor

Tilt sensor is part of fraud-preventing

system, and is intended to alert the casino
operator, if the player it trying to affect the
result of the game by shaking or moving
the Roulette Generator.

Ball launching electric fan with air filter

The ball-launch fan provides the airflow to launch the ball into the ball-guiding tube.

Roulette wheel

Single Zero or Double Zero Roulette wheel.

Lifting Wheel Cone

At the end of game cycle (after winning number detection) wheel’s cone is lifted, allowing the
ball to slides under the wheel. The ball is then moved into the ball launch position or into the ball
replacement mechanism. The game cycle is finished.

Revolving mechanism for changing balls

Nine balls are stored inside the revolving magazine, while one ball is used for the game. Revolving
mechanism replaces the used ball with the new one when the preset number of games is reached.

This sensor detects the ball as it revolves on

the ball-track, spinning counter-clockwise.
While the ball is revolving on the ball-track
the players may be allowed to place bets
for some time (depending on the game
configuration). After the ball leaves the ball
track the betting is no longer possible.
This sensor also helps detect any
irregularities, which may occur as a result of
a fraud attempt or a damaged rim, such as a
sudden acceleration of the ball, not enough
revolutions prior to result detection, etc.

Zero pocket proximity sensor

Proximity sensor which detects the pocket with the number zero (single zero) as it passes by.

Pocket proximity sensor

Proximity sensor which detects each pocket passing by.

Trigger for hitting jackpot is that jackpot reaches a previously calculated value.
The chance that the player is awarded with the Jackpot is increased by sum of all bets on all Play
Stations.

Min stake to participate (cents)

This is the criteria that determine which PlayStations are eligible to win jackpot. Only players
who bet this predefined minimum are eligible to receive a jackpot.

JackPot initial and maximum value

Range for jackpot value in which jackpot will hit. Values are in currency.

Total cash in for jackpot

Value represents the Sum of all the bets required to reach the Jackpot maximum value. This
determines how much the current jackpot value increases with each bet (increment %).
Important: Increment (in %) added to RTP must be less than or equal to 100%.

Probability table
Set the hit ranges and their probabilities that Jackpot will be paid out in defined range.
Value set in the first row must be equal to the Jackpot initial value setting. Value set in the last
row must be equal to the Jackpot maximum value setting, so that the whole range from start to
the maximum value is covered. Sum of all Percentages must be exactly 100%! If you don’t need 7
ranges, you can define only several, and leave others on “0”.

Start jackpot show at the current value of Jackpot minus random range before it hits (in $€)
Setup for Anticipation mode: a random value is calculated between “From” and ”To” value. When
actual Jackpot value reaches the calculated Jackpot hit value minus this new random value, Play
Stations enter into Anticipation mode. If these values are set to 0, anticipation mode is disabled.
Example:
Jackpot hit value, determined by jackpot controller is $150. “From” value is set to 5 and “To” value
is set to 10. Anticipation mode in this case will be randomly selected by the jackpot controller in
a range at the current jackpot value from $140 to $145.
Elektroncek is NOT recommending enabling this option.

Game Types Enabled

By enabling the specific game, Generator becomes Jackpot Controller (JP Controller) for the
selected game type (e.g. Roulette 0).
That means JP Controller collects stakes from connected Play Stations (not necessarily playing on
Generator which is JP controller) for all game types defined. It does not matter what kind of game
type Generator is currently running. JP Controller increases JP value from stakes participating in
this JP controller.
If no game type is selected, all games played on this Generator participate on this JP. (E.g. if
Generator is dice, Sic Bo and Craps played on this Generator will participate to this JP. If Sic Bo or
Craps is played on any other Generator, stakes are not sent to this JP controller).

NOTE. Option, if Jackpot minimum value is displayed on

Player’s Graphics Interface, is set in G4Settings.exe program (tab

Roulette Mystery Jackpot Based On Wins Straight Numbers

Jackpot hit value is randomly selected, based on the probability table set in Mystery Jackpot
settings (InitialValues.exe program).
Players, whose cumulative bet put on straight numbers is at least predefined amount of money are
eligible to win jackpot.

Jackpot current value displayed on the Player’s Graphics Interface (on Play Station) is incremented
by Jackpot Controller based on increment % and “Sum of bets” from all Play Stations. Every time
the current jackpot value is changed, the new value is displayed on the Play Stations and on PID
screen.

If anticipation mode is enabled: when current jackpot value almost reaches the calculated jackpot
hit value, the anticipation mode is started on the Play Stations.

eligible in this game is selected and jackpot is awarded to him.

Golden Chip Jackpot

Golden Chip Jackpot system is a mix of Mystery and Event driven Progressive system.

Golden Chip is a system where participant is randomly (mystery) selected. The Jackpot value is
awarded if the player determined event matches the random result.

GOLDEN CHIP is a chip, which has no pre-determined value (no credits). It is this chip which gives
the player the possibility to win the whole Jackpot value.

Only one player can be awarded the GOLDEN CHIP in a single game.

Player functionality description

In order to qualify for a Golden Chip progressive jackpot, a player has to meet an IB predetermined
criteria (“Min stake to participate”). A player who has met the criteria on the spin that a Golden
Chip is randomly awarded, will have a chance to randomly receive a GOLDEN CHIP (according to
the “How to determine winning station” setting).

The Player will then place this GOLDEN CHIP on any number or group of numbers for the following
spin. If the player does not place the GOLDEN CHIP before the “Last bets” indication, the chip will
be placed randomly on a straight number.

If the number comes up, then the player wins the Golden Chip progressive jackpot (Zero credit
value does not prevent the player from winning the Jackpot).

If the GOLDEN CHIP was placed on a split or corner bet, only 50% (split) or 25% (corner) of the
whole Jackpot value will be paid. If there is no winner, then the Jackpot will build up by the IB
predetermined percentage.

When the Jackpot is won, it will reset to the initial value.

Multigame functionality description

The Golden Chip Jackpot starts at “Bets please” with Golden Chip selection attraction mode
(animation on the screen, LED show). Only one player can be awarded the Golden Chip in a single
game.

After the Golden Chip selection mode, the player has the ability to put the GOLDEN CHIP, which
has no value (no credits), on a straight, split or quarter number. If the player does not place the
GOLDEN CHIP before the “Last bets” indication, the Golden Chip will be placed randomly on a
straight number. If the Golden Chip is placed on a winning number, the Jackpot will be paid out.

55
G5 Diamond User’s Manual

Generator scenario description

The Jackpot is only available for games played on a specific Game Generator, because the trigger
for starting the Jackpot is the number of station games played (per Generator) with stakes that
meet the “Min stake to participate” criteria.

The Golden Chip is awarded according to the values defined in the “Frequency” option in the
InitialValues program.

The Golden Chip Selection is started on the next “Bets please” cycle. After the Golden Chip
selection mode is done, the Game Generator restarts the timer so that players have the same
amount of time for betting.
After the game in which a Golden Chip is awarded ends, the position of the Golden Chip is sent to
the Game Generator, which determines whether a Jackpot is won. The Golden Chip Jackpot can
be won on Straight, Split and Quarter bets in the Roulette game.

NOTE. Option, if only bets on straight numbers are allowed is

set in G4Settings.exe program (tab “Roulette game settings” ->
“Golden Chip Only on Straight” in Param.ini).

Frequency
Select a range of played games (with stakes) on the Game Generator, where “Golden Chip” will
be be awarded.
• Min. number of games played since last GC awarded – Value represents the minimum number
of games to be played since the last awarded “Golden Chip” (total Play Stations games that
meet “Min stake to participate” criteria).
• Average number of played games till GC is awarded – Average number of games played since
the last awarded “golden Chip” (total Play Stations games that meet “Min stake to participate”
criteria).

How to determine winning station

• Normal random – winning station is randomly selected between all stations which meet the
“Min stake to participate” criteria.
• Linearly weighted random – random selection of wining station is linearly weighted according
to the percentage share of single station bets in total sum of all stations bets on which the
“Min stake to participate” criteria is met.

Hidden Jackpot
Hidden jackpot value is used to fill up visible initial jackpot value after RAM reset or Jackpot
payout.
After each resolved bet, part of this bet (defined by increment in %) is added to jackpot logic. This
logic then determines how this jackpot increment is divided between visible and hidden jackpot.

Hidden jackpot can be incremented when:

• Hidden jackpot value is less than initial jackpot value
• Visible jackpot value is more than maximum jackpot value (whole jackpot increment is given
to hidden jackpot value)

Hidden jackpot is not incremented when it reaches Jackpot initial value and visible jack-pot value
is below maximum value.

Settings

96
G5 Diamond User’s Manual

G4 Settings – Param.ini

Program G4Settings.exe is a configuration program used for setting G5 Diamond gaming device.

Settings are stored in “.ini” files and loaded to device memory during the device startup:
• Settings for Play Station are stored in Param.ini file in directory “D:\Data\”.
• Settings for Game Generator (Center Unit) are stored in Center.ini file in directory “D:\Data\”.

To change settings for G5 Diamond Play Station an USB keyboard and preferably an USB mouse
should be connected to the Play Station’s computer (Logic Area 3).
Start configuration program G4Settings.exe from directory “C:\Programs\”.
Select menu “File/Open ini file”, select file “D:\Data\Param.ini” and click “Open”.

NOTE. Changes made with G4Settings.exe program must be

saved to Param.ini file in order to be considered on Play Station.

Once configuration of the Play Station has changed, configuration file can be distributed to all
Play Stations in the gaming device using “Distribute settings”.
(See section “Advanced Center Unit Commands” in the “Operator Menu” chapter in this manual).

NOTE. Command “Distribute settings” must be executed on the

same Play Station where one has changed Param.ini file with
G4Settings.exe program.

If certain Play Station should have different configuration than other Play Stations in the gaming
device, we would like to prevent overriding of the certain Param.ini file with execution of the
“Distribute settings” command. That can be accomplished with creation of the additional files
named:
• Param_[x-y].ini in directory “D:\Data\”, where [x-y] is range of ID numbers of Play Stations.
(example: Param_1-10.ini)
• Param[x].ini in directory “D:\Data\”, where [x] is ID number of the certain Play Station.
(example: Param1.ini)

First the settings from Param.ini are applied. They are overridded with settings from
Param_[x-y].ini and then with settings from Param[x].ini.

Jackpot type 1- Mystery Jackpot
Min. stake to participate (cents) This is the criteria that determine which PlayStations are eligible
to win jackpot. Only players, whose cumulative bet is at least here
defined amount of money, can hit the jackpot.
JackPot initial value Range for jackpot value in which jackpot will hit. Values are in
JackPot maximum value currency.

Total cash in for jackpot Value represents Sum of all bets to reach the Jackpot maximum
value. This determines the factor (the increment in %), how much
will the current jackpot value increase for every bet.
Important: Increment (in %) added to PRTP must be less or equal
100%.
Probability Set the hit ranges and their probabilities that Jackpot will be paid
out in defined range. Value set in the first row must be equal to the
Jackpot initial value setting. Value set in the last row must be equal
to the Jackpot maximum value setting, so that the whole range
from start to the maximum value is covered. Sum of all Percentages
must be exactly 100%! If you don’t need 7 ranges, you can define
only several, and leave others on “0”.

case will be randomly selected by the jackpot controller in a range at
the current jackpot value from $140 to $145.
Elektroncek is NOT recommending enabling this option.
Game Types Enabled: By enabling the specific game, Generator becomes Jackpot Controller
(JP Controller) for the selected game type (e.g. Roulette 0).
That means JP Controller collects stakes from connected Play Stations
(not necessarily playing on Generator which is JP controller) for all
game types defined. It does not matter what kind of game type
Generator is currently running. JP Controller increases JP value from
stakes participating in this JP controller.
If no game type is selected, all games played on this Generator
participate on this JP. (E.g. if Generator is dice, Sic Bo and Craps played
on this Generator will participate to this JP. If Sic Bo or Craps is played
on any other Generator, stakes are not sent to this JP controller).
