The Issue
● Almost every young person is confronted with
bullying; as a victim, bully, or bystander

● More than 100,000 Australian kids are bullied


daily

● Bullying can have lasting emotional, social, and


physical effects

● The term ‘bullying’ is often misunderstood and


cultural

● Victims feel unable to escape, lose motivation for


their studies/work, and fear being themselves.

● The issue is not going away, but evolving 2


Our Initial Proposal
● Sharing of positive messages using “You are very inspirational to those
Fortune Cookies around you because….”
● Developing better/meaningful
relationships built on kindness “For .... I have to thank you”

Modifications to Proposal
● Stall during O-week / mental health days
