TENDER NOTICE

Sealed tenders are invited on percentage basis duly filled in figures as well as in words from
the contractors of Civil Works registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in relevant category for
the year 2020, as per details given below:-

2. Tender details are also available at CDA website www.cda.gov.pk and PPRA website www.ppra.org.pk

3. Tender documents can be obtained from the office of Deputy Director Road Division-II, CDA located at
Old Navel Headquarter, Room No. 57, CDA Office, G-6 Markaz, Islamabad, on cash payment as given
above per set (Non-Refundable) during working hours on or before 23-10-2020 before 12:00 Noon
against written request which should be on letterhead having name, address, phone No’s and signature of
the contractor. No tender will be sold on the date of opening of tender.

4. Interested firms should have a good experience of Asphalt & Pavement Works, must have executed at
least three (03) works of similar nature in last five (05) years costing not less than Rs. 100.00 Million
each, and should have their own Asphalt Plant and other machinery required for the work. Applications
without such experience and ownership of Asphalt Plant/machinery will not be entertained.

5. The prospective bidders are required to submit Bid Security (Deposit at Call) amounting to Rs.
3,033,662/- in favor of Deputy Director Road Division-II, CDA issued from any scheduled bank against
firm’s account. Name of firm should be clearly mentioned on instrument (Deposit at Call). Tender
documents shall not be issued without Earnest Money.

6. Application for issuance of tender documents must be accompanied with valid copies of PEC License
obtaining tender category C-4 & above for the year 2020, NTN Certificate, CNIC, Registration of Firm /
Partnership Deed / Sole Proprietorship / Power of Attorney / Authority Letter from the Contractor in
favor of their representative. No tender will be issued without showing all required documents in
“original”.

7. Tender bids will be received and opened on above date and time in the office of Director Roads (North),
CDA located in Old Navel Headquarter, Room No. 03, CDA Office, G-6 Markaz, Islamabad.

8. The tender documents must be accompanied with Non Relationship Certificate, NTN Certificate, Non
Judicial Stamp Paper worth Rs. 50/- or above & professional Tax Certificate from Excise & Taxation
Department. No tender will be entertained without these documents.

9. The applicant will have to submit a no litigation certificate/undertaking on stamp paper clearly
mentioning that there is no pending litigation with any Government department/organization.

10. CDA reserves the right to accept or reject any/all tenders as per PPRA Rules. Conditional tender will not
be entertained.
