How to Create Meeting in Google Meet

Step 1: Log in to your Gmail Account

Step 2: Click this icon

Step 3: Choose and click “Calendar”

Step 4: Your screen will look like below screenshot, click “Create”

Step 5: Input or type the name of your meeting in “Add title” , for example -Web Class Chapter 1 Auditing Theory

Step 6: Set date and time of the meeting.

Step 7: Click “ Add Google Meet Video Conferencing” – important step

Step 8: Click “Save”

Step 9: Once saved, you will be directed to the calendar again ( see below screenshot) and you will see the meeting you created.

Step 10: Click the meeting you created

Step 11: Copy the meeting link by clicking this icon or you can highlight the meeting link below “ Join with Google Meet”

Once you copy the link you may send this to your student by pasting in LMS or pasting in your FB group chat.
Remember: When pasting your meeting link in LMS make sure to put https:// or has https:// before the word “ meet.google”

For examples: https://meet.google.com/bvg-iqss-gsf
