01. What is Extreme
Architecture?

We as architecture students and

professionals have all once wondered
“what is it like to design spaces and
buildings for extreme environments
and conditions?’ Some of us even
thought of taking it up as a research
topic for our final graduation thesis
and are later suggested to not pursue
by our faculites due to the lack of
information and expertise on the
subject.

But the question still remains burning

in our minds.

What is it like to design

for extreme environments
& conditions?

How does building

designs change for
extreme conditions like
Ice age?

The Extreme Architecture workshop

by Oneistox is an online crash
course aim to introduce learners to
the subject of designing for such
extreme environmental conditions.
Learn to adapt architecture for
changing global conditions and
prepare for the worst situations
including disasters.
