 THE FIVE

Angelia
My group consists of five therefore we named it THE FIVE; Vanessa as the leader, Melissa,
Novella, Winny and me myself. I can say that I am in a great group where we can work and
perform well together. Of course this is because we have a good leader. Vanessa has the
transformational leadership style where she stress that the goal of our group is to be the best
team. But when the time comes and our team is not the best, she always cheer us up by
saying that at least we have tried our best. She also makes sure that everyone plays a role in
our discussion and no one is left behind. She divides the tasks according to our ability,
monitors our progress and helps us if we face any difficulty. Weakness that I find in Vanessa
is that she is not really good in English. In UPH, almost every assignment is done with
English so sometimes she has trouble in expressing herself. However she is a fast learner and
I am sure that her English will improve soon.

Melissa
The FIVE is my group’s name. My group consists 4 of my friends, Angelia Phanjaya,
Novella Theodora, Vanessa, Winny Wanchenia, and lastly, me, myself, Melissa. We have
chosen Vanessa as our team leader.
For me, Vanessa is a good leader. She always monitors us and keeps our works organized.
Motivating us has been her speciality; she makes sure everyone in our group has the same
amount of task to do. She understands our needs and problems. Vanessa has been a
responsible leader for me; moreover, she has plenty of ideas to finish a task, but her English
is not really good. Overall, she is a good leader.

As the leader of The FIVE, i would say that this team is a great team. Every each of us has
our own ability and this means we complete each other and can do the given task well.

for me,
Angelia has the ability in choosing a suitable words used in the task. Her weakness is that
sometimes she is really active but sometimes she do not pay much attention in the middle of
our discussion because she is being moody.

Melissa is the person who has the most knowledges among the five of us. But she tend to
play just like after we discuss for 5 minutes, she also wants to play 5 minutes.

Novella and Winny have brilliant ideas to do the task. But sometimes both of them do not
know how to convey their ideas. This two will make a great team-work if they are paired to
complete the task.
