Chapter III

This chapter deals with research design, the subject of the study, the data gathering instrument,
the data gathering procedure and statistical treatment of data.

Research design

Research is a design is a plan of collecting and utilizing dat to have the desired information of
the precision. The researcher used descriptive method in conducting the study because it goes beyond
mere gathering and tabulation of data byt also involves the interpretation of the meaning or significance
of what is described.

Descriptive research focuses on the present conduction. It is a scientific method which involves
observing the behaviour of the subject without influencing it in any way. The purpose is to find new
truth that may have different forms such as increased quantity of knowledge, an increased insight
infactors which are operating, the discovery of af a new caused relationship and more accurate
formulation of the problem (shuttle, 2016.)
The type of descriptive method employed in the study is a survey approach. The researchers
used a self constructed questionnaire as the data gathering instrument.
