Sportsfest 2019

School is a place where students are nurtured toward becoming responsible and productive members
of society. School provides a means of molding students into capable employees or
professionals in their chosen fields. Mathematics and Science help students to enhance their
reasoning, English helps hone and polish verbal and written communications, Social Studies
promote socialization and awareness, and Physical Education encourages students to have holistic and
active lifestyles and practice the arts of winning, losing, and teamwork.In other words, participating in
physical education provides invaluable life skills.

Sports is one way not only to show the skills and talents of the students but also develop the spirit of
sportsmanship and camaraderie among individuals.Another purpose is to enable students to realize their
strengths and weaknesses and be able to improve on each area of sports, as well as to determine the
potential athletes’ who will represent in the higher meets.

Students wore their Intramural shirts with proud faces and showed their support indifferent ways. The
day started off with a simple parade inside the school grounds. Students yelled their chants and
waived their props, letting the people know what team they’re on. A short ceremony was held. A
short message was delivered by the Assistant Directress Mr. Eden Destacamento. Then, the torch lighting
was done by Ivan Hidalgo. After the ceremony, Mr.and Ms.Intramural candidates showed their
wit,beauty, talents and skills. After that, player in each game team are getting ready to win the
each game.

The school not only conducted sports activities but the cheerdance contests as well. This is very crucial
because we truly believe that learners are diverse in many ways thus, it is true that not all students are adept
in the field of sports. Therefore, it is essential that we conduct differentiated activities to cater the skills and
talents the students have.

The final part of the activity is the declaration and awarding ceremony wherein not only the victors
have been awarded prizes to recognize their efforts during the conduct of games but also those who have
lost but actively participated in the activity.
