Cristian delgado romo task 2 ‘’Our CNN Hero Nominee's Biography (Draft)’’

My cnn hero is Liliana Marcela Arias Cuartas, she was born on June 4, 1975 in
Medellin. the oldest of three children, her mother is marcela cuartas zapata

She studied social work in the Tecnológico de Antioquia Institute and she is currently doing
a master's degree public management. She lives in itagui in the San Gabriel neighborhood
with her mother, son and dog percy.

Her personality is very beautiful, She is a very friendly hard-working, helpful person, with
strong character. She likes to be constantly changing and do things to improve for
community she too leads fundraising activities and earmarks for the underprivileged.

In her leisure time she likes to read books of meditation and personal growth, she also
likes to swim and run in the mornings.

She has had several jobs along her life, as a clothing saleswoman, ice cream saleswoman,
mayor's secretary, security guard, child recreation, commissioner, and currently works at
La Rosaleda social development centre.

She has made several contributions for her community among the most noteworthy is the
management of public resources to the neighborhood, improving spaces such as
playgrounds, community canteens, social rooms, outdoor gyms, an urban orchard, among
others.

Apart from this, she has managed to have a security system with cameras in the most
critical areas of the neighborhood for greater security for all.

During the epidemic for covid-19 she has led collections of solidarity markets for the
underprivileged. Moreover, she has encouraged people the buy in the local markets.

She should win because she is a necessary person in all communities, additionally, she is
very tolerant, kind and helps everyone who needs it.

She is the best nominee because she is a community leader who has helped many people
have a better life.

If she wins she would be given recognition and greater influence to help more people.
