JOB SUMMARY 1. Play a key role in ensuring the company complies with local and
health and safety guidelines and procedures.
2. To ensure the safety of all employees, make sure all projects are
up to code, and provide advice and recommendations for safety
improvements.

Duties and Responsibilities


1. Create, implement and monitor Safety, Health and Security Programs.
2. Perform frequent site safety inspection.
3. Enforce safety regulations & conduct safety orientations.
4. Monitor the expiration of the firefighting chemicals.
5. Ensure compliance of Personal Protective Equipment.
6. Conduct analysis of any potential health and fire hazards.
7. Implements Job Hazard Analysis of all activities in Site.
8. Apply preventive action on hazardous activities in Site.
9. Ensure all projects and necessary works covered with work permits system.
10. Assess health risk of staff and ensures implementation of preventive /
corrective actions.
11. Co-ordinates with Plant Manager regarding policies / requirement.
12. Conduct safety meeting / toolbox meeting.
13. Update management on Daily, Weekly and Monthly activity checklist provided
by the company.
14. Appointed member of Fire Emergency Team / First Aider Team.
15. Conduct investigation of Incident / Accident Report.
16. Create and update manuals (i.e. Health, Safety, Security, Environment).
17. Custodian of Manuals and Working Procedures related to his division.
18. Ensures that all environmental laws are implemented by company.
19. Prepare cost center budget annual basis and monitors actual vs. budget.
20. Maintain the plant cleanliness in the area.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Four (4) years of related work experience if graduate of any 4 or 5 year


course without license or have a ten (10) years safety-related work
experience if undergraduate;
2. Must have relevant experience and training in occupational safety and
health. Three (3) years experience is required if applicant is duly licensed;
3. Knowledgeable in the compliance of all government regulatory
requirements related to Safety and Health;
4. Computer literate and has the ability to make reports;
5. Personable and can relate people at all levels in the organization;
6. Willing and able to do multi-tasking.
