This guide is designed to assist in determining building values for the purpose of establishing
consistency in the charging of application fees. All costs (labour, material etc.) are included.
NOTES:
• Costs are based on the floor areas of all levels, measured between the inner face of the
external walls
• Costs will provide a reasonable estimate for construction. There are many instances here the
actual cost of a building will vary from that determined from using this guide
• This guide utilises the lowest price in any range listed in Rawlinsons
• Where a particular project is not covered within this cost guide, the value of the work may be
determined by reference to Rawlinsons Australian Construction Handbook.
