Instructions
• You’re not allowed to use any electronic device during the contest.
• The problems may not be in order of difficulty so you should try all of
them.
• Each problem has a maximum score of 8 points. You will be awarded 2
bonus points if you can make a guess what the name of the contest actually
means. So the contest is out of 42 points.
• You have four hours and thirty minutes for the contest.
• You should scan your papers within thirty minutes after the end of the
exam and send it to Ahmed Ittihad Hasib on Telegram. Your submission
will not count if you submit the papers after thirty minutes

Problems
1. Given a triangle ABC with 6 A = 45◦ . Let A0 be the antipode of A
in the circumcircle of ABC. Points E and F on segments AB and AC
respectively are such that A0 B = BE, A0 C = CF . Let K be the second
intersection of circumcircles of triangles AEF and ABC. Prove that EF
bisects A0 K.
2. Let ABC be an acute-angled triangle with AC > BC and circumcircle
ω. Suppose that P is a point on ω such that AP = AC and that P is
an interior point on the shorter arc BC of ω. Let Q be the intersection
point of the lines AP and BC. Furthermore, suppose that R is a point on
ω such that QA = QR and R is an interior point of the shorter arc AC
of ω. Finally, let S be the point of intersection of the line BC with the
perpendicular bisector of the side AB. Prove that the points P, Q, R and
S are concyclic.
3. A convex hexagon is circumscribed about a circle of radius 1. Consider
the three segments joining the midpoints of its opposite sides. Find the

1
greatest real number r such that the length of at least one segment is at
least r.
4. Let ABC be an acute triangle with AB < AC and 6 BAC = 60◦ . Denote
its altitudes by AD, BE, CF and its orthocenter by H. Let K, L, M be the
midpoints of sides BC, CA, AB, respectively. Prove that the midpoints of
segments AH, DK, EL, F M lie on a single circle.
5. Let ABC be an acute triangle with AC > AB > BC. The perpendicular
bisectors of AC and AB cut line BC at D and E respectively. Let P and
Q be points on lines AC and AB respectively, both different from A, such
that AB = BP and AC = CQ, and let K be the intersection of lines EP
and DQ. Let M be the midpoint of BC. Show that 6 DKA = 6 EKM
