learning competencies:
1. Explain how to optimize the energy systems for safe and improved
performance
2. Explains the role of physical activity assessments in managing one’s stress
3. Self-assess health-related fitness (HRF), status, barriers to physical activity
assessment participation.

program. The acronym FITT outlines the key components, or training guidelines, for
an effective exercise program, and the initials F, I, T, T, stand for: Frequency,
Intensity, Time and Type.

What Is It
Rhythmic activities aim to study the body movements which are used to express the theme,
feelings, moods, religious rites, occupation and social activities. Folk dances tell us about customs,
mores, culture and traditions, superstitious beliefs and events of daily life of countries all over the
world.
DANCE
is a performance art form consisting of purposefully selected sequences of human movement.
This movement has aesthetic and symbolic value, and is acknowledged as dance by performers and
observers within a particular culture.

4. To develop a graceful and rhythmic coordination of the body movements that improve

A. Fundamental Position for the Feet

TIME SIGNATURE
Musical notation for the way notes are arranged into measures. The first (or
top) number represents the number of beats (or notes) per bar (or measure) of music
and the other (or bottom) number represents the value of those beats. For example,
2/2 (Read as tow-two) means 2 quarter notes per bar.

Meaning a movement gets 3 counts before moving to the next step.
Examplae:
1. Count 1-2- 3 first position of the hand, 2-2-3 2nd position of the hand; 3-2 -3
3rd position of the hand; 4-2 -3 4th position of the hand; and 5-2 -3 5th
position of the hand.

Directions: arrange the fundamental position of the arms and feet according to its
chronological order
Directions. Practice the fundamental position of the arms and feet applying the
different time signature.

Activity: Perform It
a. Perform and video the fundamental position of the arm using the 2/2 time
signature with Leron-Leron Sinta Music.
b. Perform and video the fundamental position of the feet using the 3/4 time
signature with Bahay Kubo.
NOTE: You do not need to finish the music. You Just perform 1 series of position 1-5 for
the arms and position 1-5 for the feet. Send it to the Link given in found on your class
GC. Title of the form will be FUNDAMENTAL POSITION OF ARMS AND FEET.
