PRE-ACTIVITY FOR FINAL TEST - LEVEL 1


Before developing the final test of this second term, it’s necessary
that you carry out some exercises.
1. Write the concept of these words.
Vegetables – Fruit – Bread – Egg – Cupboard – Sink – Cooker –
Scissors –Stapler – Bin – Bookcase – Printer – Diningroom.
 VEGETABLES: The vegetables are foods that normaly grow on the ground.
 FRUITS: The fruits are foods that normaly are sweet and grow on the trees and
on the ground.
 BREAS: The bread is a food that is made with flour and you can find in the
bakery.
 EGG: The egg is a food that you usually can eat at morning and it’s made for the
chicken.
 CUPBOARD: It’s a piece of furniture where you can save you food.
 SINK: It’s the place where you can wash your dishes.
 COOKER: The cooker is the plece where you can prepared your food.
 SCISSORS: This is a tool that is used to cut things.
 STAPLER: This is a tool that is used to paste papers.
 BIN: This a tool where is used to depose the garbage.
 BOOKCASE: It’s a place where you can find a lot of books.
 PRINTER: This is a tool that is used to print things.
 DININGROOM: It’s a place where you sit down to eat.

2. Write sentences using these words, you can use present simple,
past simple or past progressive.
Livingroom – Bedroom – Bathroom – Garden – Steamed Kitchen –
Fried chicken – Boiled chicken – Steamed – Fried – Baked – Do the
laundry
 My mom is reading in the livigroom.
 My brother is sleeping in his bedroom.
 I’m cleaning the garden
 I’m cooking in the steamed kitchen.
