1. TEST PURPOSE:
To check electrical resistances and the heating temperature rises of connectors.
Test carried out in the presence of the customers.
2.1 Connectors :
2.2 Conductors:
3. TEST CONDITIONS:
- Resistance measurement (according to NEMA CC1 1984) before heating under a DC current of
100 A=.
- Heating AC current: 980 A∼ (according to 100K above ambient on 400 mm² alu cable)

4. SET UP :
4.1 Preparation :
The conductor parts introduced into the connector grooves, the connector grooves as well as connectors
palms type CE X2 63 100 TT are brushed under neutral grease, after having taken off the surplus of
neutral grease they are covered with contact grease.

6. ANALYSIS OF RESULTS:
6.1 Resistances:
The resistance of each connector shall not exceed 110% of the reference conductor resistance:
The connectors under test check this criteria (see § 5.1).
6.2 Temperatures
The temperature-rise of the connectors shall not exceed the temperature rise of the conductor with
which it is intended to be used.
The temperature rise of the connectors which connects conductors of varyzing sizes shall not exceed the
temperature rise of the conductor having highest temperature rise.
The connectors under test check this criteria (see § 5.2).
