Senior Stallion FAQs

To ensure you are getting the most accurate information about one of the most important times in your
life, we have compiled some FAQs regarding the impact of Covid-19 and school closures on seniors.

Q: Do I have to do any school work?

YES! You are still required to complete assignments and encouraged to make
up missed assignments in order to maintain eligibility for graduation at the end
of the academic year. If you have not already, reach out to your teachers via
Schoology to determine your status in each class you are enrolled in.

Q: I still need an SOL or Industry

certification? Will I still graduate?
Your school counselors, school administrators ,and school division leaders are working
with the VA Dept. of Education on solutions to provide the best outcomes for seniors in
need of a verified credit or industry certification. Once the final solution has been
determined seniors directly impacted will be contacted with updates directly.

Q: I paid for Prom and All Night Grad with

my senior package. Will I get a refund?
YES! Refunds for the remaining parts of the senior package will be automatically
generated and mailed to the mailing address on file in StudentVue.

Q: What can I do to stay on track for

graduation?
Stay Connected with your teachers, counselor, administrators and adviser!
Communicate consistently to ensure you maintain graduation eligibility.
Seek help when needed and do not hesitate to reach out to your network.
Be Consistent Log in to all classes on Schoology daily to stay updated, complete assignments,
communicate weekly about your status.

Q: Who do I reach out to if I have

questions or need help?
All school staff members are accessible via Schoology and email and can help or connect you
with the right point of contact to help at any time.
Technology needs? Visit GRHS M-F anytime 9AM-12PM near the meal distribution site (Driver's Ed Lot)
Need Internet Access? Call 263-1111 to register for an access point.
Use your phone as a hotspot! Cell phone companies are waiving hotspot usage fees for the next two months.
