Community center is located in Rajarhat, Bangladesh.

Area :- 910m2

The building serves as a community centre for folks from

the region, aged from toddlers to elder people.

The plan (79x105 ft) is East-West oriented and
consists of two volumes under a large bamboo roof
construction.
Lifted roof, cross ventilation and nearby pond
provides with good cross ventilation and reduced heat
in the building.

The class rooms are positioned on the south side of the
building, U shape bricks are used on the southern side ,
which saves costs and provides with narrow windows
which allows light and ventilation.
Yellow color is used in the building and window
thicknesses as the color is disliked by some specific
insects.

First floors of both the blocks is connected by a footbridge.

First floor slab has bamboo supporting members and thin

concrete slab is constructed above it which saves material and
reduces costs.
