2. If you were to compare your life to a short story, what story would it be?

(Present your short story)

The obstacle in our path a short story, were I having comparing my life to it. My life has many obstacles
and roadway to face the circumstances. The King of the story had a boulder place on a roadway,he then
hid himself and watched to see if anyone would move the boulder out of the way. Many people loudly
blamed the king for not keeping the roads clear, but there was a peasant man then came along and
trying to push the stone out of the roads, after much pushing and straining, he finally succeeded.
And the king of my story is God who give me challenges and obstacle in my life. I was already a
college student before year 2012-2014 at Bukidnon State University-Salay, External studies center. I
succeed my 1st and 2nd year but when I was in my 3rd year 1st sem. during our prelim month I was
admit to Cagayan de oro hospital at Cagayan Medical center because of dengue fever and that time I
taught it was critical because I was placed in emergency room but due to lack of vacant room thats why I
was placed in emergency room and I was not comfortable within the environment because it's really
hurt when you see people having a trouble accident, a open surgical operation were you hear a person
shouting because of pain, and most painful part when you see the parents crying out loud for their baby
died,my heart was really felt aching those moment, I see the reality of obstacle that given by God with
them.

And I asked myself what about me?, what problems God will give me, and I felt nervous everyday
and that time when I was in the hospital for 6 days I have trouble sleeping I can't even sleep my eye bags
get darker due to lack of sleep and a lot of negative mindset due of being pessimistic thinking lead me to
stop my studies. Yes, a stupid and immature decisions that I have made through years come, until it
reach the moment when I decided to be in a relationship and build my own family at the age of 18 and
now, we've been almost 6 years.

At the age of 23 ,I realized how stupid I am before for not finishing my studies. And now, I finally
realized that having educational attainment is important because it provides stability in life and the
chances for better career oppurtunities and open up new doors for yourself, that's why I decided to
continue and pursue my studies eventhough I have in a commitment but I take the oppurtunity to go
with it, with the help of ched program they help us and encourage us "Motherhood" to continue studies
eventhough I haven't a baby but my classmates felt me to be part in motherhood group students ,we
have our common sense. With the help of ched program many of us "Motherhood" pursuing our studies
eventhough there are some people judging us that we are studying only because of ched allowances,
but we didn't listen to there statement and we rather, letting ourselves be educated and pursuing our
dreams for someday we are successful person in our society.

I have a struggles and difficulties in life and now I know that God give me all of these just to show
how I will be able to overcome it. God never promised life would be without problems, but he did
promise he would be with us and see us through every obstacle. The things that I must show to him that
I have to be optimistic in life, faith with him and to focus on my strength, not my weaknesses so that I
will be able to move the mountain .

Just like the peasant man in the story he give his strength to out the big rock in a roadway and he
finally succeeded. And I know that these obstacles we come across in life give us an oppurtunity to
improve our circumtances, and whilst the lazy complain ,the others are creating oppurtunities through
their generosity and willingness to get things done and I believe that I will be succeeded person
someday and reap the rewards of not giving up.
1.Among the active revolutionists mentioned above, who do you think has the
similar story of your life? In what aspect?
I choose Andres Bonifacio, He was a son of government official. We have similar aspect of being
raised by our parents with there duties and responsibilities as a government officials with their monthly
salary to sustain there family needs and to serve people with honor.

During my childhood years, my parents love to serve our community, they wanted to be a leader and
a member of the government.

My father before, served his duties for being a military officials and later, decided to be elected as a
barangay officials and by the grace of God he win in year 1997 and end up his term in 2002.

After him, my mother also elect as barangay kagawad in 2 consecutive wins year 2002-2007. She
later, decided to run as a barangay captain in our barangay in year 2007-2010 but she was failed to win,
but she didn't lose hope, she again re-elect in year 2010 with same position and finally she win as captain
in our barangay and end up in 2013. After 3 years of service, my mom was ill, after being admitted in the
hospital ,she have to take medicine everyday in order to live long healthy. Due of her condition she
cannot longer serve in public, but despite of her situation I thank God for having her in our lives and for
those chances in life.

After a years, My father was recently run again as a barangay kawagad and he win during the
election voting. And now he again a public servant in our barangay.

According to the life of Andres Bonifacio he was a leader of the philippine revolution, he serve also in
the government and leave his remarkable work in our philippines, eventhough I am not like him or I am
not use to follow the footprints of my parents, but I am very much thankful and proud of my parents for
being a public servant in our barangay eventhough they didn't finish their educational attainment, but
they rather must showed and proved that it is not the hindrance for what they want to achieve. And I'm
gonna use there courage for I believe I well do it and I will be able to achieve my dreams in life. I have to
be brave for facing the battle field in my life, like Andres Bonifacio, he was a brave man facing his
enimies in the battle field, and through his work the philippines break free from Spaniard colonial rule.
Today and for upcoming generation his story were always be remembered like the others.
