A. God’s creation – Bible-based

Genesis 1 began before the creation of all things in God Himself. Consequently, there is no so-
called “pre-historic age” or pre-historic age. God's revelation of himself and His will for mankind is the
very beginning of history. In the beginning, God created everything in the universe in literally six days
with 24 hours each. It includes everything in space (even the planets and stars), as well as everything on
earth. Although the Trinity is not clearly seen in the account of the creation in Genesis, God indicated
that He was with Him when He said the word "we" when He created man.

B. How the World Was Made

The story is about how the world was created but the difference is the mythological events. The
story is about the gods and goddesses that led to the formation of the world. Every god represents a
part of the world. This is just a story that started a great sea water led by Maguayan and the sky led by
Captan. From them the formation of the world began. Lidagat represents the sea, Linangin in the wind,
Licalibutan the land, Liadlao the sun, Libulan the moon and Lisuga the stars. People started inside a
bamboo namely Sicalac and Sicabay who had children who served as the first creatures in the world
until they spread all over the world.
