    777 Hydraulic System Fluid Transfer Prevention

    A question which quite often comes up during 777 training is why there is a special sequence
    used when pressurizing and depressurizing the hydraulic system.
    Due to some automatic features of the hydraulic system, it's possible for hyd fluid to transfer
    between the center and right hyd. systems (and vice versa) via the brake system when using
    the parking brake.
    See the maintenance information below for a good explanation.

    Additionally during the Before Start Items, the Primary Electric C1 pump is selected ON first.
    This is done to prevent an unnecessary start-cycle of the C2 pump as it will be load shed
    anyway if it was switched on prior to the C1 pump being switched on. (OAL info)
