Q. What will happen to the balance in EDENRED CARD


A. Any amount balance in the Edenred card can be used till the expiry of the Edenred card, Please refer
the expiry date mentioned on your meal card.

Q. Can I transfer the Edenred balance to Sodexo card


A. No, you cannot transfer the amount to Sodexo.

Q. When will my Sodexo card be activated


A. Your Sodexo card will be activated from the month of September post the KYC and all upload
henceforth will happen in Sodexo card.

Q. Will Edenred support in case of any queries


A. Yes all queries will be answered. Currently Edenred employees are working from home and they will
revert back to all queries with in 72 hrs.

Q. What is Sodexo Meal Pass?


A. Sodexo Meal Pass is a fully digital meal benefit solution. This card
comes with a 3-year validity and is accepted at Sodexo-affiliated
merchant outlets for the purchase of food and non-alcoholic beverages.
Once you have activated your card online, you can start using the virtual
card across online portals which accept Sodexo Meal Pass. The physical
card will be delivered to you at a later stage.

Q. How is the virtual card different from the physical card?
A. There is no difference between the two. Currently, we are facilitating virtual activation of cards, so you
can use your meal card online. The physical card will be delivered once you resume back to office and will
be communicated to you through your HR team.

Q. Where can I use Sodexo Meal Pass?


A. Sodexo Meal Pass comes with a 3-year validity and can be used for online payments as well as
contactless payments at QR code-enabled outlets.
▪ Accepted across 100,000+ outlets as well as online portals including popular brands like Reliance,
More, BigBazaar, EasyDay, Spencer, HyperCity, Dominoes, Pizza Hut, Jiomart, Grofers, Swiggy,
Zomato, etc.*
▪ Next-gen app that lets you search and recommend outlets, check spends history, block/unblock
card, and much more
*Once you have activated your card, you can start using it on online portals. You can use the card at
Sodexo accepting outlets, post delivery of the physical card.

Q. How much amount will be loaded on Sodexo Meal Pass?


A. Sodexo Meal Pass will be loaded as per your declaration in the flexi basket.

Q. When will my card be loaded with the monthly value chosen?


A. Your card load will be loaded in the beginning of the month. For example, the amount for Sept 2020 will
uploaded in the beginning of Sept 2020.

Q. What steps to be followed to activate Sodexo card?


A. You will receive a Welcome Email/ SMS* containing details of your Sodexo Meal Pass. The card must
be activated online before usage. Activate your card online by following the 2 minute card activation
process:
● Visit the card activation portal https://activation.sodexobrs.com
● Enter your registered email address/ mobile number (the one on which you will receive welcome
Email/ SMS)
● Enter the 12-digit card reference number (mentioned in your Welcome Email/ SMS)
● Click on ‘Get Activation Code’
● Provide KYC information
● Enter activation code (received on Email/ SMS)
● Complete OTP-based mobile number verification
● Click on ‘Activate Card’
Once you have activated your Card, download the Sodexo-Zeta App to view your card details.
*Activation emailer or welcome email will be sent from Do-not-reply.in@sodexo.com.

Q. How can I access my card details for online payments?


A. Once you have activated the card online, download the Sodexo-Zeta App from
Playstore or iOS App Store
▪ Enter the registered Email ID / mobile number which was used during
activation
▪ Enter the OTP received
▪ Create password
▪ Enter your app PIN
▪ Registration successful, your Sodexo Meal Card will be auto-linked
You can now access your card details including CVV, expiry date etc. by tapping
on the card on the Sodexo-Zeta App under the Home Screen. Simply use these
details to order online. The PIN required for online payments can be generated
every 2 minutes on the Sodexo-Zeta App.

Q. What are the benefits of using the Sodexo-Zeta mobile app?


A. Downloading the Sodexo-Zeta app on your smartphone has the following benefits:
● Multiple ways to pay: Use your Sodexo Meal Pass at online and offline food stores and pay using:
○ QR code - Just scan the QR code at the merchant outlet and punch the amount
○ Shop ID - Enter the merchant’s Shop ID and pay
○ Zeta code - Click on “Zeta Code”, generate an OTP by tapping on the screen, share the
OTP with the vendor to pay and you’re done!
● SuperPIN - It’s alright to forget your static PIN because you have the SuperPIN to your rescue. The
SuperPIN is a dynamic PIN that is generated every two minutes on your app
● Integrated food apps - Buy food directly via the integrated food ordering apps
● Merchant outlets - Access the Sodexo Merchant Directory on the app
● Suggest an outlet – Suggest an outlet of your choice to be added to Sodexo’s network, from the
app
● Exclusive offers and discounts - Avail exclusive offers and discounts
● Block and unblock card - Cards can be blocked or unblocked as per your needs
● Track spends - Real-time in-app notifications on spends and credits
● Access transaction history - Access transaction history on-the-go
● Set transaction limits – Set transaction limits to your PoS & Ecommerce transactions
Q. Where can I get a list of outlets that accept the Sodexo Meal Pass?
A. There are two ways to find the merchant directory:
● Download the Sodexo-Zeta mobile app and click on the ‘Merchant List’ option to view the list of
Sodexo Merchant outlets
● Find the Sodexo Merchant Web directory on http://sodexo.live/directory

Q. Where can I use my card online?


A. You can use your card or mobile app to make online payments across food delivery apps and grocery
portals like Jiomart, Grofers, Zomato, Swiggy, Faasos, Box8, Freshmenu, Milkbasket, & more.

Q. Can I start using the card for online payments?


A. Yes, you can start using your card for online payments once you have activated the card and the credit
is loaded on to the card by your company. The PIN for making online payments can be generated on the
Sodexo-Zeta App by simply tapping on the card.

Q. Is my card secured by a transaction PIN?


A. Yes, the Sodexo Meal Pass is a PIN-based card. You can generate a Dynamic PIN on your own using
the Sodexo-Zeta app. You will receive your static PIN later along with your physical card.

Q. Will I receive SMS alerts for my purchase and load transactions?


A. Yes, you will receive SMS alerts from Sodexo for your purchase and load transactions. To receive SMS
alerts, your mobile number must be registered with Sodexo. If your mobile number has not been provided
by your employer, you can register the same with Sodexo at the time of card activation on the activation
portal. You can also update your mobile number on the Sodexo-Zeta app. Please update the same to help
us serve you better.

Q. Can I withdraw cash using my Sodexo Meal Pass?


A. No. As per law, the card can only be used to purchase food and non-alcoholic beverages.

Q. What is KYC registration?


A. Know your customer ('KYC') is the process of a business (Sodexo) identifying and verifying its
consumers (Sodexo Card Users). KYC guidelines are issued by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). As per
the RBI Master Direction, it is mandatory for all prepaid instrument issuers to complete their KYC. Currently
Sodexo captures KYC information at the time of card activation itself.

Q. Are there any limits to the amount that can be loaded on the Sodexo Meal Pass?
A. The limits for the digital card remain the same as that of current Sodexo meal card. RBI guidelines
specify capturing and validating consumer information for certain value issued on prepaid cards. At the
time of activating the card Sodexo obtains KYC details. Users have an option to either provide minimum
details (mandatory) or complete full KYC (recommended).
If user provided minimum details the following rules apply:
a) Balance on Card (at any point) should be ≤ Rs. 10,000*
b) Cumulative credits per month should be ≤ Rs. 10,000*
c) Cumulative of debits per month ≤ Rs. 10,000*
d) Cumulative load per FY ≤ Rs. 1,00,000*
Within 12 months from the date of card issuance, the user will need to complete KYC, if not, no further
credit allowed on the card. Once the user completes KYC the card can have a balance of up to Rs.
1,00,000*
*Note: These limits are prescribed by RBI and are subject to changes as and when mandated by RBI.

Q. How do I check the balance on my Sodexo Meal Pass?


A. Every time you make a purchase, you will receive an email/ SMS notification stating the updated card
balance. You can also view card balance on the Sodexo-Zeta app on your smartphone or desktop.
Q. How do I ensure the safety of my Sodexo Meal Pass?
A. If you’re using the Sodexo-Zeta app to make payments, you can rest assured that your meal card can
never be misused. With the SecureShield feature in our app, we’ve brought security into your hands. The
SecureShield comprises of:
● SuperPIN - A dynamic PIN that’s valid for one transaction only
● Swipe2Pay - With Swipe2Pay, all you need to do is swipe on the secure dialog on your phone to
complete your online transactions. It is perfectly safe, fast and convenient.
To ensure that the card is not misused, do not share the PIN and do not store the Card PIN and the card
together. If you have lost your card, please block your card at the earliest to avoid misuse of the card. You
can block and unblock your card through the Sodexo-Zeta mobile app.

Q. Can I add an outlet of my choice in its network?


A. Kindly share the details of your favorite outlets at http://sodexo.live/suggest-us. Sodexo will try to affiliate
outlet of your choice in the network.

Q. Will I be charged for the replacement card if I lose my physical card?


A. Yes, you will be charged a card replacement fee as mentioned in your welcome letter.

Q. Is there any inactive fee on the Sodexo Meal Pass?


A. Yes, a card inactive fee as mentioned in your welcome email will be charged if there is no
credit/debit transactions on the card for 90 days.

Q. Is there any other fee on the Sodexo Meal Pass?


A. Yes, an insufficient fund fee as mentioned in your welcome email will be charged for every transaction
that is declined due to insufficient balance on card.
