COURSE DESCRIPTION

Distance learning connects teachers and students across geographical

barriers, providing education and training to remote and off-campus sites, with
the aid of modular print media. Students can now learn from the comfort of
their homes with no need to commute to campuses. This evaluation summarizes
and describes the students’ academic progress and interests in the class through
the use of print media modality. The objective is to review and report on
performance, response and achievement.

NARRATIVE

There are few creative techniques and approaches I have employed in the
making of my student’s learning modules. It is necessary for me to discover my
students’ distinctive behaviors at the beginning of the academic session-week 1,
so as to utilize a quality teaching method that will match the varieties of the
student learning styles for good academic achievement.

Grade 7-Mathematics. As a whole, based on the results on the

assessment, activities and exercises presented in the learning modules, I found
out that a greater number of the students performed well and seemed motivated.
The good standing of their scores tells me the best demonstration of
independent learning, independent reasoning and defending their opinions.
Apart from that, some of the students if not all need to focus in reading and
analysing the topic given to them most especially in reading the directions.
Learning my Mathematics modules needs a lot of attention to detail. Day by
day, I’m expecting for academic progress and improvement from them.

Grade 8-Science. I have employed real life activities that are much
related to my topics in this module. Responses of the students which were
revealed from their scores show that students must work harder and need to
have interest in engaging with the lessons presented in the modules. As a result,
assessing them as a whole, they need to improve their oral communication as
can be seen in their class activities and presentation.

Grade 11-GAS,TVL. Problem solving skill is not only useful in school

and attending mathematics classes, it is also very useful in daily life. Assessing
the responses of my students, considering that their maturity and understanding
level is equivalent to that of a First year college, they cope hard to follow
instructions, which result them to fail the item. Even though some activities are
hard, they need to work out what to do and how to make it. That’s the survival
thinking approach. However, they communicate well in explaining some
presentation activities.

Grade 12-GAS-Applied Economics. In this module, I have employed

activities to improve social skills including communication and awareness. By
the responses gathered out from their modules, I have found out that my
students took their time to study well my lessons. The findings from their
activity scores show that students’ achieved outstanding result in the course
where creativity took place.
