RE: Reservation & Use of the Unit Operations 1 Laboratory Open Space Area for
Research Experimentation

Dear Engr. Evangelista,

Greetings of Peace in the name of St. Vincent de Paul!


I am Maridil Joy B. Isidro, a 5 th Year Chemical Engineering student of Adamson University under the
Chemical Engineering Department, College of Engineering. I am writing this letter in behalf of my
Research Team composed of Five (5) Chemical Engineering students enrolled under the course ChE
Research. The researchers are currently conducting a Research Project entitled “Effect of Rubber
Surface Pre-treatment Method on the Rubberized Precast Concrete”.
As part of the experimentation process of our research, our team is in need of an open space area inside
the Adamson University premises that will serve as a fixed location to reside our raw materials (cement,
gravel, sand and rubber) as well as, some of the construction equipment (slump test apparatus, concrete
mold, steel drum etc.,) needed to produce our rubberized concrete specimens. The open space will also
function as the research experimentation area that will facilitate the specimen production.
In line with this, we are humbly requesting your good office to allow our Research Team, to conduct our
Research Experimentation on Unit Operations 1 Laboratory open space area, provided that the
aforementioned conditions below are followed:
1. It is the rightful duty and responsibility of the Research Team to maintain the area clean
after every use or whenever the experimentation process has arrived to completion.
2. The Mechanical Engineering Laboratory is not responsible for any loss of raw material
nor in charge of securing any valuable materials on the area.
Thank you very much for your consideration. We are hoping to receive a favorable response from your
good office.
