Peter and Vanessa find a flyer for a new pizza place. Are there any deals?
Peter: This pizza place looks great. The flyer says that it's the best place in town!
Vanessa: It's across the road from the park. It looks popular.
Peter: Your friend from out of town ... George right? He is coming next week?
Vanessa: Mmhm. Yes, and he loves pizza. We can go to dinner there.
Peter: Great idea. You can see what it is like.
Vanessa: Do you want to come with us?
Peter: Uh huh, I'll bring John too!
Vanessa: Plus, they have a special package deal on Saturdays: 2 for 1 pizzas and free
ice cream!

You often use contractions when you speak. You do not use contraction words a lot in
writing.
You do not use contractions in formal texts like a business letter or essays, or exams.
