We thank God for the way He has sustained us as church and nation as we have been
united in fighting the Covid-19 pandemic.
Following the presidential speech on the state of Covid-19 in the country, the Interfaith
Council has issued revised guidelines as follows:
1. Church members below 6 years and above 65 years are from Sunday 4th October
are allowed to attend worship services.
Limited time of worship per session shall be 2 hours and the number allowed
shall be determined by 1.2m social distancing.
Group meetings and Youth Services are allowed as long as all protocols are
observed.
2. Weddings may be attended by a maximum of 200 people. Food May only be
served to family members.
3. Funeral services may be attended by a maximum of 200 people with 50 only
allowed at the gravesite. The service must not exceed 2 hours and NO FOOD
shall be served.
On arrival, the body shall be transferred straight to the place of funeral service
and NOT inside the house.
Funeral services shall not be turned into political or other social forums.
4. All other protocols remain the same and must be observed. Those are: Social
Distance, Wearing of Facial Masks, Temperature monitoring, Hand Washing
with soap and flowing water and, use of sanitizers.
