Objective: Students will perform their pregame and halftime show while marking time and using
“step offs”

Warm up

● Concert bb on whole notes, then half notes, hold out bb

● Bb Remington

● Tune to bb starting from lowest going up

● Tune F starting from lowest and going up

Sequence
● Run through fight song while marking time
● Explain step offs
○ Run through fight song but step off when you are supposed to x2

● Have Ethan conduct star spangled banner

○ Give pointers if needed

● Go over rock around the clock with marking time and step offs
○ Repeat to have Ethan start song and rep step offs again

Informal visual assessment. Watch for students to complete step off. Signal when it is supposed
to happen.

● Move to thriller to have Ethan review the dance that he taught them last class period
○ Repeat as necessary
