Q1. Describe a situation where you were the leader of a group of five
or more people and you had to achieve a specific objective.

Sol: In order to achieve my target with my team members, my first task will
be to divide my target among my group member so that achieving target
becomes easy.
Making incentive schemes to motivate team members to achieve their
given target.
Keeping a check if any of the member not able to achieve his/ her
individual targets, if so then to discuss the reason behind non-performance.
To reallocate the target of non-performing member among members in
such a way that the best performer gets more chance to earn highest
incentive and the helps in achieving the Group target.

Q2. From your learnings on the Street Task, what is your


recommendation for the price we should charge a pack of 10 bars of
Fruitchill to shopkeeper? The MRP for each bar is Rupees 10 & why?

Sol: The price of 10 Bars of Fruitchill to shopkeeper should be 80Rs. (8Rs /


bar).
So that he gets good margin to sell the product to its customers.
As Retailers plays an important role in the final sale of the product and in
successful launch of any new product in market.

3. Assuming that (i) one bar of Fruitchill costs the company Rupees
4.5; and (ii) the CTC of a Sales Executive is Rupees 2.3 lakhs per year,
how many stores does the Sales Executive need to visit per day? (you
have to make a series of assumptions to answer this question; we will
not provide any guidance and the objective is to assess your
thought process - please present your rationale in detail)

Sol: From my learning from the street task sales person needs to sell at
least 60 Packets in a day in order to justify his salary, so that he can
generate a revenue of Rs. 150000. He can easily sell by visiting only 30
stores. (i.e. 2 packets of 10 bars each in every store). The above season is
for on season only.
Where as for Off Season Sales person has to sell at least 32 Packets a day, so
that he can generate a revenue of Rs. 80000. As 1 Pack of Fruit chills consist
of 10 bars the sales person needs to sell only 32 packets which he has to
sell by visiting at least 40 stores.

4. Fruitchill is a new product in a sales channel that already has


several offerings available for consumers. How can we promote the
sales of Fruitchill? Please be specific in your recommendations.

Sol: To promote the Sales we can opt the followings:


1. Camps in School
2. Stall Outside Cinema Halls
3. Stall in Malls Amusement Parks
4. Encouraging weekend Schemes at Malls & Amusement park.
5. Quantity Purchase Scheme for Retailers
